I for sure ain't no Dave Ramsey, but I would not touch a co-sign with someone with a credit score of 600. Not even my son or daughter.
Unless YOU want another house. Because I can almost guarantee that you will be making the payments in a year or so.

The guy has managed to save $40,000 for a down payment in 4 years under Obama. As a relative that could absorb the additional cost if necessary, I feel like giving him a chance for a new start. But some have said cosigning doesn't effect mortgage loans that much, and that he'd still be turned down. Anybody know?
