Penelope Soto, a Florida woman, was jailed on Monday after flipping off a judge during her court hearing, CBS Miami reports.
Soto, 18, appeared in bond court for a drug possession hearing and laughed when the judge asked her if she was under the influence.
The judge told Soto, "We're not in a club, be serious about it." Soto said she was being serious.
He initially ordered Soto to be held on $5,000 bond, to which Soto laughed again and said, "Adios."
The judge summoned her back to the podium and increased her bond to $10,000. At that point, Soto stopped laughing.
"Are you serious?" Soto asked.
The judge replied, "I am serious. Adios."
Soto flipped him off and blurted an expletive as she walked away. The judge then ordered her held in contempt of court and sentenced her to 30 days in jail.
I saw that last night on tv it was funny her little smart ass smiled sure turned upside down real fast

Greg Gutfeld on the Five today was lamenting the fact that we adults are prohibited from applying beat-downs to wise-ass teens when such actions are appropriate, and needed. This Soto chick is a prime example of the upshot ... no respect, and no clue disrespect could possibly have consequences. The video of the judge setting her straight is nearly as entertaining as that mother from hell being tased in Atlanta.
I wonder, somewhat sadly, if her attitude will improve any when her sorry smart @ss is violently sexually assaulted by the massive bull dykes she’s going to inevitably mouth off to during her visit to the “grown up day care center”?

My daughter wants to be a judge and my other kids are all doing well but my daughter saw this and she is 11 , nearly 12 and she was disgusted by what she saw.
There in lies the problem, the many youth today have crap parents, they are taught nothing, not even the basics of saying sir to a judge and they all think they deserve everything they want, remember the black woman saying about the obama phone or the other woman saying how her gas, her bills will bepaid for now their messiah is in power etc.
We hear about guns but guns are not the problem, we had toy guns and started to shoot each other in cowboys and indians, it is the society today what is the problem.
The radical lunatic left have been trying to destroy the traditional family since the 20’s, for some reason they hate the family and this is what we now see from their agenda.
Sick , weird, mentally screwed up people with no manners, no work ethic, parents who want the schools to raise their kids and pay for their food, they want Govt to help them live.
Well good for this judge and I hope my daughter does become a judge because today we really need decent judges and not radical activist liberal socialist homosexual judges.

Well said. It's was always common for kids to do dumb stuff, but in the past they wised up quick when challenged.
But today, they feel entitled to do dumb stuff and flip off anyone they please. The dumb broad didn't even understand how stupid she was.
We need more judges like this to slap some sense into these feral kids.
