She was a pretty girl; his comment was unmistakably sexual. So now my comment is deleted? I wonder why?

Did the press really need to print the names excluded from the funeral? How does that help anything? Why mess up their lives?

Fair warning for normal people to avoid associating with them; a public service.

Winning post.

... but, boy, talk about having everything going for you and throwing it all away.

P.S.: It’s possible to become a fashionista at age 22? Learn something new every day. That word apparently doesn’t mean what I thought it did.

I'm trying to see something humorous in this, but it's just not working.

AMEN fildelis. Another tragedy in this godawful rotten pop culture this country has degenerated into.

Riggitano singled out a man who she was not happy with, and although he was permitted to attend her funeral, she added that she hoped he 'gets what he deserves' when he gets there.

Online spat: Victoria Van Thunen, left, and Riggitano, right, exchanged angry words on Facebook

In early January, Riggitano had a two-day Facebook spat with Tinari over her friendship with the jewellery designer’s boyfriend, aspiring race car driver Drew Heissenbuttel.

On Thursday, Tinari told The Post that the 22-year-old was harassing her online via private Facebook messages. She added that Riggitano was not her friend, and she told the woman to leave her alone.

'The only thing I’m ashamed of is what I said about her overdosing on Xanax. I shouldn’t have said that,' Tinari conceded.

In a message sent between January 8 and 9, Riggitano responded to the suicide comment by writing: 'Thats called a threat, and a suicidal threat the police dont take that lightly since the boy in ridgewood killed because of someones words.'

In her missive, Riggitano went on to say that there are laws agaisnt bullying and Tinari should have 'checked that out' before making her remarks.

The feud between the young women, who according to Tinari didn't know each other before the exchange, started when Riggitano sent her a rambling rant the goal of which was to get Tinari to stay away from Drew Heissenbuttel.

The message cited by The Post read in part: 'since drew cannot take care of the issue at hand, I will. You have been nothing but a bitch to me every time you walked in the door ignoring my existence maybe because you were so concerned with picking up your drugs...

'Everyone who has spoken to me when i came into the picture told me all about you and his friends had nothing good to say except you used Drew for his money.'

I disagree, it wasn’t “unmistakably sexual”, but it was received as such, which says more about the receiver. I thought it was vague. Yours was removed because it quoted the original, I’d guess.

I can’t even guess what demons were inside her head but I do know that the NY fashion industry is as brutal and catty as you can get in the adult world. A thick skin is a prerequisite.

Woo recalled that early last month, Riggitano was supposed to take part on a major trade show that the design house was participating in, but called in sick. A short time later, she took another sick day.

According to the jewelry designer, Riggitano began working for the company on a part-time basis in January, and was only at work about two days a week.

It’s life in what they would like to think of as The Fast Lane, a la Sex and the City, and the entire NYC faux-culture
of “achievement”, but this Life in the Fast Lane, with minor
players, used bumper cars. New York, as Charlie Daniels once said, gives us
“the best and the worst of everything”. That was probably more than 20 years ago—in our own time, the best diminishes daily, as the worst takes over.

Klonopin is nasty stuff.

Respectfully disagree. It helped me through panic attacks during a rough period in my life. And it allows me to go back to sleep when I wake up during the night for no reason, which has been going on for years.

Like anything else, abuse it and you may die. Use it correctly and it helps.

There seems to be more to the story than her just getting upset over a Facebook ‘bullying’. She seems to be a very troubled girl and I doubt the NY City ‘fashionista’ life helped much.

How ‘bout that “social media” thing?

Unstable people were killing themselves over arguments with friends long before the arguments happened on Facebook. To me, blaming social media is akin to blaming guns for gun deaths.

I’m sure she led a very “dramatic” life and was up on all the useless pop culture trivia.

At that age very few problems are insurmountable. Nothing someone says to you should be cause for suicide, and I’ve had people say awful hateful things to me, some of which were true and I deserved.

Suicide

A permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Sorry folks but I cannot find any humour in the the death of such a young person.

It pains me to think that this young woman, on a momentary fit of outburst, threw away everything she might have been..

Who she might have loved...
Whose who loved her...

Was her life so painful or so empty that it was no longer worth living?

Or is this generation so shallow (What the hell is a fashionista?) that it cannot bear the slightest of injury to their ego.

Maybe this is the result of praising every child as "special" even when they are just average.

Raising their expectations beyond their ability(or willingness) to achieve their unreal dreams.

And when life doesn't recognize their uniqueness they go on an rampage or commit suicide.

I fear this is the bitter harvest of sowing our seeds on sour ground....

I was raised in a loving and supportive home but I was also tampered with the reality of life.

Very little "poof of Tinkerbell’s fairy dust” from culturally rich NYC but with hard work and dirty sweat on deep rich, Tennessee soil.

I pray she finds the peace in death that eluded her in life.....

At 22 she was just a kid who had managed to start a business but was obviously not emotionally resilient. It is very sad to hear of a young girl doing such a thing to herself. It is even sadder to see people get mileage out of it!

Too late, NY has already done that. Ban Facebook, ban bridges, ban mind altering drugs...such as AK-Adderall, AR-Klonopin...you know...all the usual high capacity mag drugs...

An expensive handbag...about $1,000 but you can get a used one for about $700. lol!

I think it looks cheap and ugly as does most of the ‘fashionista’ stuff these days.

I also don’t consider a men’s flannel shirt, a long fur vest, a sequin top and the rest of that garb fashion either but what do I know I’m from ARKANSAS! lol!

Drugs...
Sex...
Fame...

Bright shiny things to fill an empty hole.

Something was missing in her sad, short life and she couldn't find that certain something to fill that black gaping rift in her life....

.....So she jumped into it....
