No, but they do lend affirmation to the belief systems of many that law enforcement has grown lazy, stupid, corrupt and abusive.
Which is why a population that has lost trust in its institutions might view a criminal that targets an unloved and distrusted institution as a folk hero.
It's a symptom of cultural collapse.
That's what I'm looking for in life - an institution I can love. /s
Lord help us.
The shootup of the Toyota PU has me wondering if we’re even hearing a shred of truth from the MSM and the LAPD on this.
The turds that did that need to stand trial for attempted murder. How much more is there that we have yet to find out?
>> “Are they afraid of him telling his side of the story in court?” <<
You can take that much to the bank!
>> “We have a lunatic running around killing both innocent cops and innocent citizens” <<
We have the MSM and the LAPD’s word on that, don’t we!
To whom neither of which can I give any creedance.
Where do you come from on this?
The shot-up blue toyota is the present standard of credibility.
I didn't say it did. My comment was directly pointed at your claim about the LAPD professionalism.
Now, time will tell if these two are fired and indicted. And, when there aren't, it will be an indication of the professionalism of the LAPD.
>> “So are you in favor of the cops assassinating those accused of crimes? In favor of shooting suspects in the back 40 times - even if you cant make a positive ID?” <<
Yes, he sort of blew his cover with that, didn’t he!
>> “F Dorner. And F anyone who supports him.” <<
You need not support him, just keep your eyes open, and your brain turned on. You’re likely to want to swallow those words before this is over. (or are you attached to the LAPD?)
More importantly their actions do not serve as an indictment of the LAPD any more than does 5 US Army enlisted men raping a 14 year old Iraqi girl and then killing her parents and 6 year old sister serve as an indictment of the American military.
Note, too, that the perp in the Army case was found guilty in a court of law and is facing the death penalty. We also have his name and face. How about the two keystone cops from LA?
>> “Americans dont like cops” <<
Americans depend heavily on cops to keep this world sane.
It’s the rabid thugs masquerading as cops that Americans can’t stomach.
>> “Only in America can you NOT be a citizen and own a brand new, shiny Toyota Tacoma truck” <<
The LAPD should be allowed a second chance to cancel their illegal ticket, right?
Here, I have no doubt that what the 2 cops did in shooting the Hispanic ladies will be career-enders. So why don't you be patient and wait and see what happens. In the meantime, hopefully we can agree that accidentally shooting 2 women in no way equates to raping a girl and then murdering her and her family to cover up the crime. If that sort of crime doesn't serve as an indictment of the US Army then what the 2 cops did in Torrance shouldn't serve as an indictment of the LAPD.
>> “But their actions in no way lend credence to Dorner’s actions.” <<
The problen here is that you don’t know yet just what Dorner’s actions really were. All we have heard is what the LAPD, and the Drive-By media want us to hear.
(or are you something else here other than just another FReeper?)
Yep, that’s the way I see it.
A whole bunch of FReepers that I have taken at face value for years seem to have some strange axe to grind at our expense, and that of the plain truth, so far.
Lord help you - if what you’ve posted on this thread is really what is in your heart.
People still love the Boy Scouts and the US Military.
If you don’t recognize that institutions pay an important role is social stability and cohesion then you won’t understand why loss of trust and respect in those institutions is a symptom of cultural collapse.
I guess that graphic defines your credibility here.
Is he being supported by the Occupy crowd?
>> “Is he being supported by the Occupy crowd?” <<
Judging by the evidence at hand, he is being attacked by the creators of the Occupy crowd.
This thing stinks as bad as WACO.
