SALT LAKE CITY-A Sandy man accused of sexually assaulting a woman and two of her children has been ordered to stand trial on the charges against him.

Efrey Antonio Guzman, 47, was ordered to stand trial on charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated burglary, first-degree felonies, as well as sex abuse of a child and forcible sexual abuse, second-degree felonies, following a hearing on evidence against him...

A 13-year-old girl told police that Guzman, a "family friend," knocked on her door May 8 when she and her older brother were home alone. When Guzman learned that the brother was in the shower, "the defendant suddenly grabbed her, hugged her tightly and would not let her go," the charges state.

The teen said Guzman started kissing her and grabbed her buttocks, but left when her brother entered the room.

On Aug. 2, she said she noticed Guzman circling the street near her home. She ran inside to tell her mother that the man was outside and the mother then locked herself in a bedroom and called for help, the charges state.

Police say Guzman knocked on the door and asked if he could talk to the 13-year-old. The mother told Guzman that he needed to leave. But Guzman allegedly pushed his way into the home and began to assault the mother. During a struggle, Guzman ripped her shirt, then grabbed her exposed breast, the charges state.

When the brother heard his mother call for help, prosecutors say he went into the front room and saw Guzman assaulting his mother. While he attempted to get the man off of her, Guzman grabbed and then bit the son's genitals, "causing severe damage that required surgery," according to the charges.

Guzman was president of the LDS Union Park 9th Branch in Midvale.

Those ages are still legal in some states, it is not now or has it ever been legal in the US to “marry 50 women”, or marry women who were already married.

Is it normal for a 30 year old man to hit on a 12 year old girl ???

Joey Smith did that to one of his young victims ..

She managed to rebuff him until she was 15 ...

Joey Smith was one sick lustful dog...

I had never heard of Sandy, Utah, until yesterday and now there is a second story involving it in two days.

The story yesterday was a happier one, about a moose which was roaming about in people's back yards until it was tranquilized and then released into the wild.

According to the anchor on FNC yesterday, after the moose was back in the wild, it left a message on Facebook to let everyone know it was OK.

Did I say it was normal?

Or are you acting emotionally?

Well, if there are dozens that can be found with a simple google search then I'm sure that Colofornian, or you, won't have any problems finding one and posting a link here.

It's not my job to do Colofornian's research for him.

Were not talking about “normal” marriage here...

My ggg grandmother married at age 15 in 1831 but it was marriage not a one night stand..

The Mormons didnt practice normal marriage...

They had one real wife and several concubines ...

the Mormons called monogamous marriage one man one woman “prostitution” and abnormal...

and “unrighteous”

Mormon doctrines

D&C 58:21 - Let no man break the laws of the land, for he that keepeth the laws of God hath no need to break the laws of the land.

AoF 12 - We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

and yet Joey Smith was busy committing adultry with aboout 40 women other than his wife...

How do you explain that away when

1. Adultry was illegal in all the states and territories 1825 to 1844 when Smith got himself killed

2. Bigamy was illegal in all the states and territories 1825 to 1844 when Smith got himself killed

It was called illegal co-habitation and it hasnt been legal since either...

and yet Joey Smith wrote himself d&c 132 to excuse his plandering ways and polygamy was practiced by all the following leaders of the Mormons until 1945 when Mormon president Grant died...

Which is vitally important to this story because, as we all know, no member of any other religion, especially Colofornian's chosen religion, has ever committed a sexual crime.

Yup; a really great man.

Today's SLC MORMONs should be REALLY worried!

"Now if any of you will deny the plurality of wives, and continue to do so, I promise that you will be damned;

and I will go still further and say, take this revelation, or any other revelation that the Lord has given,

and deny it in your feelings, and I promise that you will be damned.

Brigham Young - JoD 3:266 (July 14, 1855)

What is your chosen religion, by the way, just for comparison's sake?

Time to muddy the water already?

Joey Smith had at lest 40 extra women among them 14 year olds and 11 women already married to other men...

The Fox news story did not report any sisters being bitten...but they could have suppressed details of that sort out of consideration for the faint of heart.
