The irony is, if you could read the secret thoughts of most progressives, this is exactly one of the things they would like to implement.

Anything to get the dangerous citizens out of independently operated vehicles and into mass transportation.

I think I can go along with this. The right to drive shall not be infringed upon.

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to just Amend the US Constitution with an amendment that Guarantees Equal protection of the Law for All Citizens??

LOL ! I am sure there are many liberal types that want to take the fun out of driving and force us to drive cars like the Toyota Pious I mean Prius with an automatic only.

I had a couple of different sports cars before. Use to have a Mustang GT and now own a Subaru WRX Turbo. Surprisingly never got any speeding tickets in the Mustang except a University ticket which didn’t go to the legal system, just an internal citation.

And gas tanks will be required to be reduced in size so that they can only carry 1/4 of a normal fill-up and only one fill-up per month. After all, if we make people drive less based on gas tank size, their cars are less likely to kill people.

Just think— in the inner city the new gun and car laws will stop not only gun violence but drive-by’s because no criminal would possibly think to illegally fit his car with a high capacity gas tank!
