Anyone who makes it to Vermont must see the preserved village of Plymouth Notch where Calvin Coolidge grew up. The presidential museum at this location only serves as a gateway to what helped shape a great man and a great president.

I pre-ordered this book on Coolidge months ago. It was delivered to my Kindle this morning. Can’t wait to read it. ‘The Forgotten Man’ was a great overview of the Great Depression for me and gave me an excellent understanding of what actually happened.

How did Coolidge give way to big-government Hoover, who gave way to Franklin Roosevelt? How did Reagan give way to big-government George Bush, who gave way to Clinton, then bigger-government George Bush, then Obama?
Why have conservative Presidents been unable to enable the election of successors who share the same values?
