If some future death panel does a Soylent Green on me they can use this in the repertoire.
Okay, I figured as much since we’re talking Vangelis, but didn’t know for sure. :) Thank you.
It was the synthesizer he used on many of his famous works. To this day, nothing else sounds the same, though many try.
COF and Bladerunner are the best examples of it. Pretty much every new synth comes with a built in version of his signature sounds from those...well, tries to ;)

Great to know! Thanks. Blade Runner is one of my all time favourite movies and soundtracks.
Perhaps my favorite all time Prog band is Pete Bardens and Camel~ The Flight Of The Snow Goose
And for a paltry $20,000 one of the few remaining alive can be yours!
And a couple grand in maintenance a year...and a really good synth tech on call....
Look into 2000-2007ish Devin Townsend. Modern Prog God. His newer stuff is great, but not proggy.
Prog is almost a dirty word today LOL
Mostly, but it still has a surprising hardcore base of fans. They mostly camp in metal-land now.

Devin Townsend - Deadhead.
You’d not recognize him today. Mr. Clean ;)
Hey!!! I'm gonna get a couple at those prices.
Solid investment that outperforms everything ;)
There are maybe a couple hundered left in working condition and the price just keeps going up. Kidding aside, they go for $10k for one in very poor condition/broken on up. And they rarely hit the market.
Think of it like the 57 Chevy of the synth world. So get’em now!!!! ;)
I have not followed the dead in a very long time.
I do have a bunch of bootlegs.
My Son likes it.
All things have a place.
Actually the song has nothing to do with them ;)
Personally I cannot stand GD music. I just do not ‘get’ it. Back when I got high or now stone sober. But many love it, so more power to’em ;) They are/were very accomplished musicians, just not my thing.
I’m sure you’ve heard this one before:
“What did one Deadhead say to the other after the drugs wore off?”
“Man, this band sucks.”
RIP Andy Ward
Nope, but I haZ a LOL ;)
The Dead were great when they were pure Americana and roots music.
It was when they went on the LSD noodling that they sucked.
Even in the end they had it.
