Once we accept that it is ok for the cops to become judge jury and exocutioner of a cop killer, how long before they start killing people for other crimes?

Oh, for crying out loud. Dorner had shot and killed a deputy while trying to bolt from that very cabin. And there was an ongoing firefight after that. He wasn't just in the cabin doing nothing.

Well, there was no cable, no phone, & no Internet. So I guess he might have been playing Russian Roulette.

The cops didn’t shoot him in a fire fight, they burned down a house around him. That was a calculated move to kill him and if you or I did that we would spend the rest of our lives in jail. The fact that a deputy was killed does not give them the authority to perpetrate a revenge murder.
