Big problem is that there are no negative consequences for anti-gunners who introduce somethign like this. Gun owners are too law abiding to go to their homes in the middle of the night and kill them (something that was done to Torries in 1777) So they introduce this stuff and congratulate themselfs on "sending a message." There needs to be a way to send a message back.
Based on what I’ve seen in the past Missouri is not the type of state that would normally propose anti-gun legislation (in fact probably the opposite) but I do know they are a state that’s had a lot of budget shortfalls and probably in need of a big cash infusion. They are also one of the strategic states that if onverted to anti-gun would probably influence others around them. What do ya wanna bet O has made promises to send federal grant money to that state in exchange for getting anti-gun legislation passed?
“Don’t think the morons who proposed this thought it up on thier own. They’re not that capable. This is substantially the same legislation that was passed in NYC in 1993. And the NYC police enforced it, arresting the few who didn’t comply.”
You are correct. Someone else is pulling the strings but I still haven’t figured out who.
