Queen Nancy futzes around and worries about losing the "dignity of the job" along with her pay, if sequester happens. She should look at the polls, the public doesn't even trust Congress. What dignity is she talking about?

Queen Nancy futzes around with the Constitution (doesn’t know the Bill of Rights) and futzes with the future of our Republic.

Good morning.

Why do Republican leaders futz around
With that narcissistic Marxist clown
As our country goes broke
All the liberals think it a joke
Soon hubris will bring them all down.

Okay, going to the corner. Where's the thermos?

With every aspect of life he must futz
It’s completely uncanny
How he’s everyone’s nanny
Is he power-mad or just nucking futz?

It was just above freezing again when I was in the woods just at sunrise-that was no deterrent to the doves-the trees were full of the cooing things-must be time for them to find a mate...

It is true that the tendency
To futz around on vacation
Is what the emperor does best
In spite of our frustration

That is not all bad, I say-
Certainly no cause for alarm
As long as he is at the beach
He can’t do near as much harm

No goodies will be given away
No matter how the masses whine-
Just a short respite from theft
And for most, that is just fine

I saw a couple of news items on climate change/global warming, and we’re all doomed, blah, blah. I can hardly believe that these loons are talking about that on a day when a meteorite smashed into Russia (again) and an asteroid squeaked between our planet and some orbiting satellites-the sky really IS falling...

If they were smart, they’d STFU about climate change and start howling to get a way found to vaporize near-space objects that might cause harm. Hey, it is a worthy cause-not imaginary-everyone can see that they are real and a potential threat. I’m sure Al Gore could make a few bucks off of the research, too...

Barter seems to be becoming the prevalent way of simple goods and services in small communities-I’ve even saved back some of MrT5’s specialty woodworking tools to trade for an outside pretty-do so the house looks spiffy for sale-just need to find someoine who needs them, and has a strong back for the work...

I’m not an ecowacko or anything like that, but I’ve always strongly and vocally supported sensible conservation by each and every person. That said, while reading an article on endangered Mexican wolves, I saw a comment by one total idiot woman who opposed RE-introducing Mexican wolves into habitat in the mostly-bone-dry southwest they occupied before they were all killed-to make room for cattle to run pretty much without fences all over the place unattended, which makes no sense to me...

The woman protested further wolf re-introduction by saying of said wolves “These animals haven’t proven to be able to live in the wild.” What? It sounds like something Silly Jackson Lee would say...

DH just got an email about Nail Guns.....they can hold 100 “rounds” and are perfectly legal in NY state. He is getting one for his birthday next month. LOL We don’t have a real gun and we were howling with laughter when we saw the email. “Ammunition” is plentiful, too.

Take it from one who is very familiar with pneumatic nailers, AKA nail guns, they can be a weapon. I own both a finish nailer, and a framing one-that is the badass one. I’d rather shoot my pistol than use a framing nailer...

Some years ago, I was on a jobsite in a very unsavory and filthy place-garbage and rats everywhere-the carpenters and helpers amused themselves in the mornings shooting the disgusting multitude of rats at the dumpsters with framing nailers, and the rats were instantly dead. There have been rare instances of people accidentally killed or seriously injured with framing nailers, too...

Meanwhile, the hardest-working POTUS ever is - as we post - playing in a Pro-Am golf tournament in a group with Tiger Woods.

How many rounds is that, Barry? 749?
Tiger must be thrilled.

I really think some group should keep a record of all the money and stuff he and Michelle Antoinette have used/spent that they are not entitled to under his job description, and the naked emperor should be billed for it in a public venue, and a copy of that job description posted. It needs to be brought home loudly and obviously that he works for us, not the other way around.
