Pinging the List.
I’ve been staying busy working on Mrs. Augie’s new sun room. Progress is slow but steady. I’m grouting the floor tile now. I do need to take a break from that this weekend to prune my orchard trees. Will be happy when warm weather gets here. Winter time makes me grouchy.
Please add me to your ping list.
Also, a question: What time of year is the best to transplant a well established, medium large huckleberry bush?
The ground is not frozen. The plants are currently dormant, but will leaf out soon. Specifically, is it OK to transplant them now?
Good morning all. We had to put down our beautiful Golden Retriever a week ago. We are still mourning.
Please add me to the ping list.
I’ll be pulling out the fall / winter plants soon and start to get ready for the spring garden this week. We still have cauliflower heads that need to be cut, along with broccoli sprouts.
I couldn't figure out where I should put the containers...
I couldn't just place them on the deck where the dogs could get to them, if I put them too close to the house, the residual heat would mess with germination timing, and if they don't get enough sun, the seeds could rot....
Why didn't I think of it before now? The raised beds! Perfect!
I wanted to take a picture of them for you, but it snowed the next day, and they can't be seen now.
LOL, this better work.
