(Cue the music ... Dum Dum, Dum Dum, Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum) Tanya Rivero reports on the photos that are upsetting many people.
This seems like something that needs close, detailed study.
I wish that Kate Upton would stop calling me.
I saw Marc Lamont had a sound bite. He’s had an angry chip on his shoulder since Sanford and Son.
The Cheryl Tiegs photo from the ‘79 SI issue upset my mom. Some years later I finally did see it.
What does she call you? Ya know, stalking people will get you called some unpleasant things.
So I tapped her cantelopes in a grocery store to make sure they were ripe.
Now she’s got me on speed-dial.
Same problem with Jessica Biehl. I’m staying out of the produce dept!
I like how the one outraged person complained that they were using people as background prop...hahahahaha....they aren’t mad because they are using chicks with huge tits to sell avertising.
They are mad because the locals in the background of the shots were “used.”
Are you offering to view all the shots? This may even require you to view the ones not suitable for family publication? There must be 100s of thousands. Some may require you to keep poster sized for long term observation. Only after such observation will you be able to truly absorb the total lack of sensitivity. It is just shameful of SI.
Yes the cover is obviously prejudiced against small chesticled persons of the female persuasion.
They never ask if Hollywood violence desensitizes people to killing.
Culturally insensitive? Fortunately, yes.
They ask Marc Lamont Hill about this.
Marc Lamont Hill sis they “man” that said Dorner being pursued for shooting a woman in the head is racist.
Who is he? Who did he play on Sanford and Son?
OK, so they found something to offend them. Talk about thin skin. So, they contact ABC and they get some camera time to talk about how offended they are.
Tomorrow they will find something else which offends them, and ABC will be there to give them some more camera time.
Because they have found something in the Constitution which the rest of us have somehow missed: a right not to be offended.
“I wish that Kate Upton would stop calling me.”
Give her my number...I will stop her from calling you. Just leave her in my hands....
That pic was a trifecta of props! Women, the elderly and minorities!
I doubt that African guys mind very much having their pictures taken with world class bikini-clad models. I think they would rather like it.
If race grievance hustlers like this Lamont character are very embarrassed by accurate depictions of current African garb and lifestyles, that is his problem.
Honestly, that sounds like a juvenile comment that a 13-year-old boy would make.
Would anyone buy it if it wasn't?
Next time you go to Africa tell all the black people to get out of the picture.
Used and paid ......:o)
Probably a few months wages worth of paid, or more, in some cases.
Now back to study this exploitation of poor scantily clad ladies .......
Stay Safe Ern !
