Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Here is my example with WFTD.
So Obama wangled a golf outing with Tiger Woods, because of course, he's the ONE and for the rest of his life will have access to whomever/whatever he wants because of it. can you imagine how disgusting that twosome was? it's a wonder the airspace wasn't constricted by those two hubristic BIG HEADS in the same area.

No pushing at the door please!
better late then never i presume? Happy Presidents day to yinz all.
There is no such thing as President’s Day.
Today the federal government is observing a national holiday for George Washington’s Birthday.
See Charlie Wangle
Obamacare was enacted via wangle
By Barry touting all the free stuff he could dangle
“Pre-existing?” No sweat
“You’ll be covered!” (Wanna bet?)
Red-tape and higher costs will start to strangle
To herd cattle, You waskle wabbit!
Name of congwessman, Chawlie Wangle (may he wake up tomorrow as a white Republican sheriff with mirrored sunglasses).
Mentioning Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter on a holiday that celebrates the likes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan surely must have the latter four spinning wildly in their graves.
Wrangel do wangle. A+++
God save us all. A+++
every time i think i can’t be shocked by their underhandedness ever again, they pull another one that takes my breath away. A+++
It is cloudy and 61 here-springlike weather, but it can’t be trusted-I’m guessing it will freeze a few more times, because the liveoaks aren’t blooming and shedding leaves yet...
He was able to wangle an invite
To play golf with Tiger Wood,
So Obama is down in Florida
Which isn’t doing any good
Not that he does any better
When he’s in Washington, DC-
He and his capos are taking
The last dollar from you and me
Based on that, maybe it is best
That he’s free to pack up and roam-
The money spent on his travels
Would be less than having him home...
As much as I love Reagan, this holiday does not celebrate him or TJ or Lincoln (or billy jeff, or FDR, or W or any other president in conjunction with Washington). Congress has never passed any change in the legislation that established Washington's birthday as a national holiday. Even the Monday Holiday Act, which changed the day of observation of most Federal holidays to Monday (the exception being Armistace/Veteran's Day), did not rename Washington's Birthday to President's Day. While some suggested combining Washington's Birthday with and Lincoln's Birthday due to their proximity on the calendar to a "President's Day" holiday, that suggestion was never codified into the Federal Register. Thus, Washington's Birthday is STILL Washington's Birthday and NOT "President's Day".

“Washington’s Birthday is STILL Washington’s Birthday and NOT “President’s Day”. Thank you very much-I was saying that to a fellow hiker this morning...
If you know what ‘crepe-myrtles’ are, watch them. Until they start to bloom winter is still with us. There is an old saying that nature cannot fool crepe-myrtles. Other tress, bushes and plants may start to bloom before the end of winter but not the crepe-myrtles.
They have wangled their way into the history books in a most unusual way.
You may want to interdigitate and think about that for awhile.
A+++ it’s cold here but sunny.
A+++ i will do that! we have one at the corner of our house in the back!
Crepe myrtles are only in a few yards-they are not commonly planted in our thin, rocky soil, hence the native vegetation as an indicator of the probable last freeze. A few miles to the south, mesquite trees are a fairly reliable indicator-but here, mountain laurels, oak trees, etc must serve, along with the farmers’ almanac...
OK, you must be North of me. Crepe-myrtles thrive in Houston. My crepe myrtles are still dormant. :-)
I’ve been singing this Pink Floyd tune for two days-my fellow hiker even asked me this morning if I heard it recently-
“Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
Flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone, my senses reel
Fatal attraction that’s holding me fast
Now, can’t escape this irresistible grasp
Can’t keep my eyes from the circling sky
Tongue-tied and twisted; just an earth-bound misfit, I
Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought I thought of everything
No navigator to find my way home
Unladen, empty, and turned to stone
A soul in tension that’s learning to fly
Condition grounded-determined to try
Can’t keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted; just an earth-bound misfit, I”
I’m way west and a bit north of you in the hill country. Not only it is a lot warmer where you are, there is also plenty of dirt. Nothing has leaves or blooms here yet but the winter vegetation and the evergreen trees and shrubs-it will freeze again.
I’m trying to wangle a break in my day to see what is happening on FR, but we’re shorthanded and every break I get results in my phone ringing, as it just did again.
5 degrees here this morning, going up into the 40s.
We do hear some birds singing most mornings, so there is that sign of spring.
Hey y’all, it’s too late in the day to post a thread so I’ll catch you next time.
FRiday’s class is about to start, hang on.
You forgot Reggie Love was part of that little getaway. Talk about a wangle!
