An Ohio woman who was seeking an order of protection against her ex-boyfriend was brutally assaulted by the man inside a Domestic Relations courtroom last week, an attack that was recorded by a surveillance camera.
As seen in the above video, the attack by Rashad Greene, 30, occurred after he was briefly left alone in the courtroom with Dominique Morrow, 28, and Greenes grandmother.
Greene and Morrow were in the Summit County courtroom for a hearing in connection with Morrows application this month for a restraining order against Greene, whom she has accused of making threats and abusing her.
After Magistrate Tracy Stoner briefly departed the small courtroom, Greene appears to begin yelling and gesticulating at Morrow, who sits placidly at a conference table. The video, which does not have audio, shows Greene jumping to his feet and chasing Morrow around the table.

What a relief it is that the magistrate was persuaded to issue a protective order. I’m sure the fine strong paper it’s printed on will stop bullets from the ex-boyfriend.
Rashad??
Baseball bat to the head would work just fine.
Sadly, there are some folks who believe that.
No, but if he drives in front of her house or calls her, he can be arrested. She cannot shoot legally shoot him for either action. I agree, self protection can do things a court order cannot, but a court order may prevent the necessity to take what should be a last resort.
Both have their place. An order of protection also makes the protectee's welfare important to the one restrained, since if anything should happen to her, if she should be hit by lightening or shot by accident in a drive by shooting, he knows the cops will be looking for him.
Its a good thing that court houses are gun free zones. That poor girl could have been really hurt.
Note the hapless judge running in at the :50 second mark and doing nothing except grabbing her hair in despair. And yet the attacked woman only gets a TEMPORARY restraining order afterward. She’d better get herself a personal defense firearm and learn how to use it, since she’s going to need it soon I suspect.

If hes caught in the act, otherwise its he said she said.
Go read (or re-read) Castle Rock v. Gonzales, (2005).
Protective orders mean nothing. The cops will look for him if and only if he’s bothered the cops... or he’s driving the donut truck.
I never saw a courtroom that small.
Nor one so badly run.
“only the police and military should have guns”
Did the fat second cop set his gun on the table and walk off.
“only the police and military should have guns”
Did the fat second cop set his gun on the table and walk off. Looks like a gun with a tag on it.
She needed a 6’ 260# felon with a black belt to pose as the new guy in her life long enough to send that loser to a bone specialist. Give that govt union clown posse a day off.
But if ‘she says’ he did, the cops can at least ask him. Half the time, at least, the jamoke offers some lame excuse rather than denying it.
I agree, a protective order is not “bullet proof”, but it at least has some use.
A protection order is just another way of saying “I love you”.
