Temporary electronic tattoos could soon help people fly drones with only thought and talk seemingly telepathically without speech over smartphones, researchers say.
Commanding machines using the brain is no longer the stuff of science fiction. In recent years, brain implants have enabled people to control robotics using only their minds, raising the prospect that one day patients could overcome disabilities using bionic limbs or mechanical exoskeletons.

Kat Von D, a military asset, who knew?
I can sit on my deck and watch my lawn mower cut my lawn? I like it...
Clap, clap, clap...what a way to try and sell brain implants (that will have a US GOVT override switch hidden in them). Sorry not buying it. You tried Obamacare and tried to get people to take the Mark but people are wise to it so they come up with this crap. And of course the Left will embrace it because it’s just a tattoo and look at all the free stuff (superpowers just like in the Avengers) they get...oh duh is there a string attached? Why yes there is but you already signed on the dotted line dummy...your soul is mine. No more free will for you...: )
This kind of tech will also help people cheat at cards in Las Vegas. <-— I said it first!
Just buy Emo grass seed this spring. The lawn will cut itself....
On a more serious note, the former staff of Mondo 2000 must be having a hell of a celebration right now. (Old cyber/futurist/hacker publication)
I wonder what you will be able to control with a “Too young to die, too fast to live” tattoo?
Can electronic tattoos BE HACKED?.... over-ridden or piggy-backed?
Just a thought!!..
Note: OR used for other purposes by givernment or other entities NOT AS ADVERTISED?
I wonder what tramp stamps will control?
This is very similar to the micro machines on the series Nadesico!
The Main Character Akito Tenkawa had one.
As always, the headline and the article are out of sync. This is not about making telepathy and telekinesis possible.
1. Minute electrical currents on the scalp are not thought.
2. People already use electrical impulses transmitted through the nerves to control prostheses. These are not thought.
3. Telekinesis is the contrary-to-reality idea that the mind (or brain) can create and direct energy at a distant object enough to move it.
4. Just as it’s possible to control a prosthetic device with electrical impulses, it’s also possible to control a machine of another kind.
5. Science fiction is interesting and fun to read. It should not be found in a magazine that pretends to be scientific.
:D — I have that series on DVD.
Mike Tyson sneezes and a Hellfire hits Robins Given’s house.
Mark of the Beast reference. Am I first?
Mark of the Beast reference. Am I first?
And second apparently
They already make (expensive) autonomous robotic electric lawnmowers, mostly for disabled people. Similar to Roomba technology.
They notice that if you use them to cut your lawn frequently, like three times a week, it looks great.
