National Drug Intelligence Center shuttered its doors on June 15, 2012—three months before the OMB issued its report to Congress.

Holy Crap! Why does this not get any attention? I am surprised to see that the government does cut here and there, but you would never know it as it does not get any coverage. I would like to know what other cuts have been made. This is astonishing. I never would have thought it especially in 2012.

The Gvt can actually be good at cutting. It just does so for the wrong reasons. Not so much to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars as SESers waging bureaucratic warfare against other SESers and their pet (rival) projects and organizations.

Why should a non-existent agency be reported when the money can be kept pouring in to go to some covered up accounts? Think Vatican Bank and CJ Roberts, the Obama clan and even a bunch of congresspersons and whoever/whatever controls the flow of money.
