Stealth Gun Control in Progress
vanity | 2/27/2013 | Lwoodham

Posted on 02/27/2013 5:06:07 PM PST by lwoodham

The following is an e-mail I have received in reference to an order I placed for two 16 round magazines for my S&W SD9VE 9mm handgun. This has confirmed my suspicions that this administration is involved once again with bypassing Congress and effecting gun control on it's own by instructing that funds be frozen to weapons and ammo purchases. There seems to be nothing available nationwide and I think it's for the same reason. The administration is using backdoor methods to halt further sales of ammo and weapons.

From Personal Choice Outfitters:

-----------------------------------------------------

You are receiving this email because you have signed up for this newsletter on our website.

To our valued customers, an apology, an explanation, and a request for your help in righting a wrong by a large credit card processing company!!

First, we apologize for the delays in processing and in refunds from the credit card processor which have occurred recently!

Second, we want to provide you with this explanation:

As you know, our industry has experienced a large spike in demand over the last several months following President Obama’s threats to reduce your ability to purchase firearms. This sudden, dramatic increase in orders is challenging our ability to provide timely processing of your order.

As with many other businesses, we use a “credit processor” to handle all credit card transactions placed through our website. Payments made through our website go through this credit card processor before eventually coming to us. Also, refunds for purchases also must pass through this processor. Until recently, our online credit card processor was First Data.

Without notice to us, our credit card processor First Data, began withholding all monies from customers' financial transactions. Even worse, they are refusing to release outgoing refunds to customers.

Even though your credit was charged, our company HAS NOT RECEIVED the money! When we disputed their retention of funds, First Data stated that they were freezing all funds in process due to the spike in demand and the “high risk” nature of our business. (That sounds “fishy” to us, how about you”)

This means that for all purchases, and more importantly, customer refunds, First Data has refused to release any funds. We believe that First Data has breached its agreement with us. We hired a law firm in Phoenix in the hopes of resolving these issues as quickly as possible.

We have repeatedly requested and demanded that First Data to release any and all funds for customers who have requested refunds.

We have expressly informed First Data that we make no claims to funds of any customer who has filed a good faith request for refund.

Despite this, First Data has informed us that they may hold the funds owed as refunds to our customers for six (6) months or more.

Third, please help us get you your refund from First Data and right this wrong!

While we will continue to attempt to get First Data to release those funds immediately, we encourage all customers owed refunds to contact First Data directly by themselves or through an attorney:

FIRST DATA 5565 Glenridge Connector NE, Suite 2000 Atlanta, GA 30342 Email: legalpapers@firstdata.com Web: www.FirstData.com Phone: 1-866-382-8643

Due to First Data’s actions, it is impossible at this time for PCO Intl to provide an accurate shipment date for outstanding orders. We are working overtime to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. We are doing our best to process orders as quickly as possible and to fills all refund requests as they come in

For questions concerning your account, please feel free to contact our customer service staff either by phone (623-386-7261) or by email info@personalchoiceoutfitters.com. Please remember that our staff is currently working at full capacity attempting to keep up with the unusually high current demand. Please be patient as you await a response to your inquiry. We appreciate your business.

Sincerely, Personal Choice Outfitters International, LLC

There aren’t that many companies like First Data, so if they decide to stop the funds there isn’t much you can do except pay cash.

So First Data is refusing to process funds to the merchant and also refusing to refund the payments to customers.

Sounds like out and out theft.

Yes, I feel like I’ve been robbed and mugged in a back alley. What grinds my gears is that this was done without any action from Congress and we don’t have any congress members with the balls to complain about it and defend the 2nd amendment.

Time for legal action via a class action civil suit to collect all funds owed plus interest, damages, loss of profits on the monies held, all legal court costs, costs of collection, and any and all other costs a team of creative legal sharks can dream up.

I set-up credit card purchasing through my web site. It took twice as long as usual because the underwriting department sat on it until I called to ask why it was taking so long. When I finally got someone on the phone, they asked if I was selling firearms or ammo. I stated that we were only selling targets for shooting - they asked again “firearms or ammo?” when I said no, the account was approved. They said that their bank will not allow any business that sells firearms or ammo. Total B.S.

They’ll probably freeze payments to your lawyer.

I wonder if there is an opportunity for some sort of third party processing or ‘front’ to get around these banks. Create a front company where you are buying credits from some generic company, ABC Books or something like that. Those credits can then be spent on firearms or whatever.

Interesting....I was lucky enough to find my ammo on the Cabelas website, and I ordered 500 rnds 9mm with my USAA Mastercard. My account was debited....but now a week later it has been ‘undebited’. I thought maybe Cabelas oversold. Now I wonder if its something else.

Shirley, this thread is important enough to use the keyword ‘banglist’ so I added it.

I wouldn’t be so quick with that B.S. call.

Banks, by and large, belong to the same people who own the Central Banks, which are the owners of record of the Federal Reserve Bank. The Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned and is NOT a part of our government.

All of them are dominated by the international financiers who are the pulling Obama’s strings.

They want us disarmed because the economic collapse of the U.S. is underway and they’re terrified of us, the citizenry.

I'll call it B.S. no matter who is behind it. Typical guns and ammo aren't illegal here. It's not like I'm taking credit cards for heroine.
