For those joining from Normsrevenge’s ping, I hope, or stumbling onto the thread, I volunteered to set up a few race threads this year. And I shamelessly stole some of Norm’s code to begin, and did a little crash course in HTML this evening. I have more links to include in future iterations, but I figured this was good for the first time out.
I am not going to police the threads. We are all adults here, lets get along; lets not bicker needlessly over drivers or performance or lack there of, but enjoy the sport, please.
And, I am going to be away this weekend through next week, so I hope this thread is a success. I will try to put together a thread for next weekend, but I am not sure that the hotel will have the bandwidth, or I will have the energy.
That being said, I am looking forward to enjoying the 2013 Nascar season!

I can’t pick you up for the drive to Phoenix. However if you still want to go with us to Las Vegas just bring a lot of cash and meet us at the Bellagio. I’ll be playing the penny machines; new roof goes on the doghouse Monday to the tune of 10 grand and I’ll have to borrow money to eat.
How can we not do better, points wise, then last week??

Thank you! Try to get next weeks ready to go this weekend and work on a new ping list. Going to miss the race this weekend, on planes, but I will catch up in between and when we land.

Can you help our race thread salvation with the Ping List you used?
I’m not at my laptop with ping list but will ping out the nationwide tomorrow and Sunday race and also try to have folks sign up for new ping list. The old list is full of long gone folk., this is a good time to get a clean start.

Martin on the pole is a very good thing. I’d really like to see M.M. win a race or two or three this year. The guy is so deserving and came soooo close last year.
This might be a “tell”. Only Toyoters and Chevys in the top 10 in qualifying and did I tell you that my wife wants me to sell my beloved truck??
Goodness sakes alive, tell her to get a second job to pay for the new roof and leave your truck alone.
