Have you looked to see if your county offers any sort of free or low cost clinic? I passed by a building for a few years before I learned it was that sort of clinic. It does take insurance if you have it and wanted to go there, but otherwise they charge on a sliding scale. I’m sure not everyplace offers that service but you might find it locally.
It is horrible to feel so helpless with your husband so far away.

LOL yeah, yeah. I spent $30 on myself! wow. exciting, huh? got an Ogia bag for my EMS gear. woo-woo. I can keep my keys, stethoscope, protocols, spare set of glasses and some cash in it. I spent the extra $5 to get it embroidered. Yeah, I was reckless.
