About 5 minutes later, there was a 2.5 on the California coast. since then two more of similar magnitude in Nevada and CA. Keep an eye on this one, folks; aftershocks nearly certain in RU; are we getting resonance on the other side of the plate in CA? Pre quakes? Fair amount of clustering there and in AK for some time now.

Any word on Tsunamis? This appears to be on the Pacific coast, with potential for sending waves East towards Alaska, Canada, and possibly even West coast of US. If this were a 7.5 or better I’d think that it would be a strong possibility.

Stay tuned!

Now this is starting to weird me out a little; Last night I started listening to the New Testament read in Hebrew; Book of John. As I checked my USGS EQ monitor which I keep up in a tab, Ka-pow!; up popped the Russian 6.9.

While listening to REVELATION this morning, CA and NV started popping; and they STILL ARE!!!

Go to the site and WATCH it!!!!

While you’re doing that, Start listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nq2aaoL1xg
and see what happens in your corner of the World.

In my quiet time this morning after the dogs were “processed”, some of the slush was shoveled off of the porch, and before Domestic Management woke up to fire up the TV or I lit off my laptop, I opened my KJV to read Revelation. It fell open instead to Isaiah, Chapter 9 and sort of stuck there. You might be familiar with that phenomenon.

To keep it in context, I started a couple of verses into Ch. 8. Ch. 9 is the portion which Rabbi Cahn based a lot of his “Harbinger” book upon, and has prophetic significance throughout the ages. Spiritual rockets started going off from between the pages as I read... It’s been a while since that’s happened!

Starting at about v. 11, we have what I call the “Apocalyptic verses”, precient, perhaps, of St. Yohanan’s later Revelation.

What struck me this morning was how throughout the horrible chastisement of Israel (by extension, the World?) Elohim’s “Hand is stretched out still.”
Not the fist of destruction, but the hand of hope; the option of reconciliation and redemption.

How many times is that promise repeated in this chapter? What is the significance of this pattern or “refrain”?

Might be high time to come out of the “Whore” and reach up for the HAND, do you suppose?

Amin & Shalom

It’s Stalin’s fault the Russians suffered this earthquake. If he had not demanded the Kurile Islands in 1945, this would have been a Japanese earthquake, not a Russian earthquake.

I’m amazed that Stalin let us keep Alaska. I guess Japan was in no position to argue very much at the time; They’re lucky they didn’t grow up communist and look a lot like No. Korea even now.

...Retrospect....

Seismic activity seems to have abated somewhat out in CA & NV... for the time being anyway.

What a funny coincidence that the Pope just flew out of the Vatican?

Oy! here I though I could be safe by listening to it on You-tube in stead!

For those inclined to defy the Mummy and read the Book, some Biblical Scholars / Eschatologists have been warning (FWIW; these guys have a terrible track record by & large) that shortly after our esteemed Emperor arrives in Jerusalem for some kind of a “Peace summit” some interesting, if not spectacular prophetic occurrences are apt to manifest.

Might want to pop up a bucket of corn and watch the Temple Mount around the 23rd of Next Month.

Having a major earthquake or natural disaster somewhere or having a newly elected Pope by the name of “Petraeus” show up in Israel just prior to that particular Shabbat might provide some prophetic red flags... or not... what do I know?

Stay tuned; We live in interesting times!

I think Stalin tried to get a portion of Japan as an occupation zone, beyond the bits that he annexed (southern part of Sakhalin Island and the Kurile Islands). I don’t know if FDR would have been willing to give up Alaska...hadn’t he recently taken a trip there? (Wasn’t that when Fala supposedly got left behind and had to be rescued?) I doubt Truman would have given up Alaska even if he made the mistake of letting Stalin have half of Korea as an occupation zone.

whenever you see a 4.2 or so in Norkland with a relatively shallow depth of around 1KM you can pretty much bet that it’s a nuke test.

There have been a few of those around Iran over the past year or two as well.
