Government can only encroach as far as the people will permit it to. Make personal friends of your state legislators. Let them know that you don't want them to become a follower of big government.

It would be nice to have statutory or other references cited so that those of interested in civil rights issues such as this have some starting point to verify, analyze independently, and if appropriate, agree.
The author obviously was referring to something, but never mentions that to which he was referring.
Credibility is in the details.
When growing up, one of my father phrases he used in reference to events in Russia or China was, “That will never happen in the USA” Boy, do I wish that statement was still true.

Those states listed are only the ones are totally covered by these "border security" search zones. Other states like New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia have massive parts of their state that are covered by this too.
Doesn't make sense. Hawaii, sure, but Michigan? What about all the other states like FL, N/S Car, Texas, MN, WI, etc???
