I was thinking it was interesting there is fear regarding the climate warming when here is proof it used to be warm in cold areas.

No. As mentioned, Bactrian camels live in very harsh and cold environments. Dromedaries are much more common and suited for a warmer climate, but desert nights can be very cold. Bactrians and dromedaries are also commonly crossbred and then recrossed depending on what they will be used for.
