I'll be one of the first to pick up a pitchfork.
Thanks for the ping, virgil.
Well, it was slowER, in comparison to, say, the ending of the episode where the Governor attacked the prison. But I don't watch the show for nonstop zombie action. One of the things that makes the show special is the great character development, and it takes time, and a slower pace, to do that. Otherwise WD would be just another horror piece with cardboard, depthless characters.
A lot of viewers wanted to know what happened with Morgan, and I think it was appropriate to take an hour to show that. I found this video on the AMC website in which the actor, Lennie James, implies we might see the character again at some point. And he's another Brit!

People like Daryl, not only because he can get things done, but because he can get this done without losing his honor and his morality.
Daryl started out just like his brother Meryl, pretty bad guy, bad racist.
He’s actually become “more human” and “more civilized” as civilization fell apart. That’s why people like him.
In contrast, Mr. law-and-order Sherriff has turned into Shane (at least for now).
Stripped of civilization, Shane turned into well, a physcho killer.
Lori, Ms. Housewife, showed she was a a bitch that latched on to whatever most-alpha male came along.
Etc.
“My daughter says if Daryl dies, she’s done with the show. It’s funny my daughter is kind of preppy dressing, an athletic brainiac. I guess teenagers always like the bad boy!”
I don’t see him as a bad boy. He looks like a bad boy, but he doesn’t act like one. Now his brother Merle, on the other hand, is a bad boy and I can’t stand him.
Yeah, you’re probably right. I think Daryl’s going to have to “take care” of Merle at some point, if ya get my meaning!
