good idea. I have been praying for all of them whenever I am reminded of our Pope, or popeless state. I trust in God. I will click later, I am on my way out the door right now. almost out of doggie diapers. that can’t happen.
Indeed.
I am a daily subscriber to “Pookie’s Toons”.
I need all the laughs I can get.
BTW, Tioga, can you put me on your ping list? Thanks. :-)
how did I not have you on my ping list? I got it fixed.
Stuff Happens!
LOL
That is funny!
Our Dairy Queens and even our Rita’s Italian Water Ice never closes....only have HOT and not so HOT as our seasons.
I meant to post that last week, think its a great idea. I got the cardinal archbishop of Lisbon, cardinal policarpo.
Xshub had his zapping and is home again none the worse for wear. Xsbaby got invited to prom and nominated for national honor society today.
The Dairy Queen in town closes about mid-November, just in time for selling Christmas trees.
They reopened on Feb 22.
Of course, the “Brazier” DQ’s (that sell burgers and such) don’t close.
Good. Hope he is still at peace when the pain killers wear off. At least it’s almost over for him.
Francesco Coccopalmerio of Italy. Cardinal since 2012. Born in 1938. President of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts. I am on it. Prayers up.
He had the procedure at 7:30 am was done in an hour and home by 10. He still feels ok, but is taking preventative ibuprofen.
I had a crappy morning - fasted for a blood test - drove over and the center had moved.... finally found it tucked inside a big medical building with no signage only to learn it was not a Quest Lab but a general lab that does some work for Quest. "We're not a Quest Quest" was the statement given to me. Seriously? So there wasn't one anywhere close by (and this Non-Quest Quest didn't have access to their computer system which held the online lab paperwork sent by my doc so I couldn't use them). So I had coffee and breakfast and ran errands then came home. I get to do it all over again next week. Whine over...
I recall a DQ closer to Philadelphia that would close but the ones closer to where we lived were always open. So is the one you are referring to only an ice cream shop?
That is correct. Your basic two windows, stand-in-line-outside ice cream shop. They added a drive thru a couple years ago.
I just have my blood work done at my doctor’s office when I see him. Which I happened to do this week.
Good idea. They should be small enough now to pass without much pain. DH had it done twice. Thankfully, he hasn’t had a problem in a long time.
Missed that about your daughter. What a wonderful day for her.
My doc for the last 9 years had lab/xray and mammo in the same bldg - very convenient but due to a job change and resulting insurance change I lost my old doc..... I’m not thrilled but life changes so I have to deal with it.
