Dogs are good like this. Our JRT Bobo recognized that sparks coming out of an electrical socket as not normal and he ran back and forth from the the den to the bedroom until Mr Ditter got up to investigate. Bobo the Angel Dog!

That’s what Bobo said WOOF WOOF!. the electrical outlet was a floor plug and it was under the sofa. We have the same sofa and it is only burned on the under side so we didn’t have to reupholster. Bobo has passed on to Doggie Heaven but we remember him fondly.

Good Dog! We had a Dobie when our boys were little. Anytime he heard a strange sound after we put the kids to bed we’d see him go to each room to be sure they were safe. I always wanted to think he checked on US, too!

Linda-The-Dog sleeps on the floor just beside my side of the bed. Our heads are just a few feet away from each other, and she NEVER jumps up onto the furniture.
Except last month when I was sick with the flu, She climbed up onto the bed and curled up beside me. Perhaps to monitor my breathing and watch for trouble? Who knows. When I got better, she reverted to her own special place.

You’re all familiar with Minny the Ibizan who repeatedly jumped on my chest until I ‘came back’ when the house filled with smoke as I slept.
I wound up with severely bruised ribs and double pneumonia from smoke inhalation but I’m alive to tell the tale.
I don’t know how she knew ‘cardiac massage’ but I’ve always figured God had a hand [paw?] in it.

Darling ‘mander, your stories are always so great! You’re like a cat with 9 lives!
We call it *HOG* [Hand-of-God] incidents. There’s no explanation.

Well, I’m a Leo so I guess 9 lives makes sense....;D
Gonna remember the “HOG” thing.
I like it.
