From what I have seen so far; you are unable to respect anyone including yourself. You have no regard for rules, regulations; etc. Your face page appears to indicate you may be a Christian; however; your appalling behavior on this thread gives much pause in that assumption. I am even beginning to wonder if your intentions of even being on this conservative forum are real or not.

Do keep “vanity” posts to a minimum - Free Republic is primarily a place to discuss news, articles, and editorials. Vanity posts, creations of the poster him or herself, should meet a high standard of quality before one is even considered worthy of posting. Often a relevant current thread or general announcement, catch-all thread is a much better choice for a brief question or comment.

Donna, please stop. You are an educated woman, and you know that the words “minimum” and “primarily” do allow for the occassional vanity. Freekitty has an issue that other freepers may be able to help her with, or, at the very least, they are informed of another scam artist trying to separate people and their hard-earned money.
I don’t quite understand your laser-like focus on this particular thread, because I read lots of vanities and don’t remember your objections posted on those threads. Why this one?
In this instance, the mod’s openly stated decision/position has been openly challenged by what certainly appears to be a ‘concern troll’.
A post made in haste followed by an inability to gracefully admit error?

I can barely stand to read my own words about him and the condolences of others.
It makes it “real” and that’s the problem I’m having, right now.
The denial of the reality.
I visited him and his leg was aching terribly but he was otherwise lucid and ‘himself’ and then they hauled him to a hospital far away where he ‘deteriorated’ with a bizarre rapidity and I was advised not to visit...then suddenly, he was just gone.
It’s so unreal.
The funeral was unreal.
And, so, that is my ‘problem’.
I can’t accept it yet.
It’s not really real, to me.
I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed away in 1988 and I still miss him at times when my sister and I talk about daddy...he was one of the best....the heart heals slowly, bless you and your doggies.....GG
No matter the time frame, I will still accept my due punishment with grace and courage.
