I have worked in school systems and have seen a fair number of children adopted by gay couples.

The gay parents I know are good parents. They are loving supportive and balance it with the right amount of discipline. Yet, these kids are usually troubled and we start seeing this in the middle school years.

If the child is willing to talk they say the love both of their parents but they wish they had a mom and a dad.

This is the thing, and it needs to be repeated: It's not about "Are you competent" as a parent.

It's "Do kids need a mom and dad?"

Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli of the Obama Justice Department is arguing to the Supreme Court that a child has no need for a mom, no right to a mom, and no interest in a mom.

Just insane.

You are a valuable gem, Kimmers. The pro-marriage forces should have enlisted you as a witness in these circus trials. Your observations may be anecdotal, but that's all the sodomites have either, and yet they push it like it were hard science.
