We used to grow peanuts commercially. But I’ve never done anything for the garden peanuts. Just poke ‘em in the ground and they’re happy. Just make sure they get lots of sun and sandy soil.

Grand-dad used to grow peanuts on this ground, and I think I remember seeing one crop, but this is the first time in at least 45 years there will be peanuts here.

Good sandy soil for them, and plenty of sun. I went ahead and got the innoculant this first time, but won't do that next year, once the bacteria are established.

The innoculant is supposed to be good for all of the legume family, so I'm going to try it on the pintos this year. I grow 3 sister (corn, beans, squash) every year, and I should know if the innoculant helps.
