Photobombing is the act of inserting oneself into the field of view of a photograph, often in order to play a practical joke on the photographer or the subjects.

For those who need a translation.

LOL!!! I’ve never understood “cat people” and “dog people”. Until you have both, you are really missing out. Watching my dog try to literally herd cats is better entertainment than anything on television. All that said, cats are natural photobombers.

Hahahahahah that picture is priceless! You can almost read the cat's mind...

"Unbelievable. Big. Stupid. Can't keep his tongue in his mouth. And they slobber all over him like he slobbers all over himself. Christ. He has no shame."

Oh dear..is that Dracatula at the window in the first pic?

Caption for poor defenseless pup...Must. Not. Open. Door.

(For some reason the cat at the window reminded me of a vampire movie I saw a long time ago. The Vamps always stood outside the window and wooed their victims into opening the door...ensuring certain death.)

HAHAHAHA!!! There is a lot of truth in that. Thank you for sharing. The dog adores me, the cats tolerate me, and I’m not sure who’s right.

When my German shepherd goes in heat she starts whimpering and uses her big nose to try to herd the cats around like they are her puppies. Needless to say the cats don’t cooperate.

Cats: Eternally incapable of leaving conservative dogs alone, even to the point of ‘photobombing’ their canine adversaries.

I kept trying to figure out why my Border Collie would run right back into the house with the cats when I would let her out. She runs with her nose right on the back legs of whichever cat is slower, and runs them right into the kitchen. Then she comes to me for praise. It’s taken me several months to figure out that she’s literally herding cats, and actually accomplishing it! She even breaks it up when they fight; she bows up and marches right in between them. She also herds my two sons, which they get a big kick out of. They are all sheep to her.

Love the one of the cat guilty of photobombing, even though trying to block a bullet. Awesome paws... Great pics.

Thanks for posting...

I have three cats and not one of them was chosen by me. They moved in. All of them were strays at one time or another. The goldens were chosen by me and I have had goldens since I was 20.

The first cat who moved in abused the dog...he was too nice to complain...like us - better known as the cats’ staff.

(I have only owned cats for years, but I love dogs. I have to wait until I am retired to get a dog...)

I have only been attached to one cat in my 58 years. His name was Oily, a stray kitten who happened to wander onto the carport when someone was changing the oil in the car. Somehow Oily managed to fall into the pan with old oil when backs were turned.
Oily was a bad-ass! Almost like a dog dressed in cat fur.

We are a dog family. One big pack with me as the pack leader, regardless of what my husband & dachshund think. :)
