Google Glass: The opposition grows (Stop The Cyborgs!)

Video of Google Glass

The opposition will congregate in dark corners.

They will whisper with their mouths, while their eyes will scan the room for spies wearing strange spectacles.

The spies will likely be men. How many women would really like to waft down the street wearing Google Glass?

It won't be easy. Once you've been cybernated, there's no turning back. Which is why the refuseniks are already meeting in shaded corners of the Web.

One site is called "Stop The Cyborgs." It claims to be "fighting the algorithmic future one bit at a time."

I’m working on cyborging myself. The screen is a big issue for me, I have developed some neat human computer interface gear. I am not a huge fan of the google glass specifically though. I am working on a heads up design but of course I don’t have the kind of resources google has, so it won’t be nearly as slick.

“Stop The Cyborgs.”

As a cyborg, I have a problem with this and where it’s going.

This is hardly a new idea or development. If you are serious about your interest, you should check out the MIT Institute for wearable Computing. http://www.media.mit.edu/wearables/ They have been doing some very interesting things for well over a decade.

Hmmm....nice.

If I were ten years younger, I’d ask her mom out on a date.
