Tim Dalton was the last decent Bond.

Ouch. Both of those movies were painful to watch. If I had my choice I'd watch a Brosnan before a Dalton just because the plots and sets weren't as cheesy.

Licence to Kill was a train wreck. The Living Daylights was much better, I thought Whitaker was a horrible villain.

Just can’t agree here. I really liked Dalton, and he effortlessly stepped into the role. Brosnan (or Pirs Bonbons as I dubbed him) was still doing the insufferably smug Remington Steele role from tv, doing the worst bits I expected from the ultra-cheesy Moore era. Craig is simply a soulless blonde thug... Red Grant without the charm, warmth or panache. If he got killed, I just wouldn’t care.
