The Southern Poverty Law Center claims that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students have been harassed by students and faculty members within the Moss Point School District.
The allegations came out Thursday at a press conference at Magnolia Junior High School. The SPLC also revealed information from an investigation of harassment of students in the Moss Point School District.
The group sent a letter to the district demanding immediate action in ending anti-gay bullying, according to a press release. If they do not take action, the SPLC said they will file a federal lawsuit.
The investigation comes as a result of complaints from former student Destin Holmes. Holmes identifies as a lesbian and claims she was often referred to as "he" and "it" by faculty, and was denied access to the girls' restroom.
Holmes left the school district in March 2012 and is now homeschooled.

Same thing happened to me actually.
I teach, and we have a “gender-questioning” female that demands everyone call her a male name. I refused, and she demanded I be fired for “bullying” her by calling her by her given name.
The administration had to explain to this confused young one that nothing would happen to me or my job because all I did was CALL HER BY HER GIVEN NAME.
why didn;t the family research sue them like the SPLC likes to do?

If she is not telling the truth her dishonesty will be exposed in court.
If she is telling the truth, the law will be on her side as I think we can all agree that we do not want government officials forcing citizens to retail human waste.
And she will have previous court decisions on the very same issue on her side.

We cannot and should not adjudicate poor parenting since we do not need government officials and courts dictating to parents how to raise their children.

Her guardian is her grandmother, not her mother.
The child’s complaints include harassment, not only by her fellow students, but also by the teachers, and not being allowed to use the girls’ bathroom.
Expressing a legal opinion is not "siding with a sodomite."

In this case, none of the officers of the court will be calling any other party to the suit a “scumbag.” Instead, they will present their cases, and it is my opinion that the court will decide that government officials may not force a citizen to retain human waste against their will.
It may be that you are of the opinion that government officials should be able to force a citizen to retain human waste against their will, and that is also a valid personal opinion.

I wonder where the girl’s mother is? Her grandmother is raising her, and homeschooling her, which will probably be the best thing for her right now, anyway. I wonder if there are any REAL men in her life? If not, that’s one reason she might have been lured to the lesbian idea.
