***The Walking Dead: Who's Going to Die Before Season 3 Ends?***

"Rick Grimes ..Odds: 100:1 There's no doubt that the writers will and probably should kill off Rick someday, but the end of Season 3 seems a little premature to us. There are still plenty of ripe story lines from the source material for our hero to deal with, ... And although it's a safe bet that Rick will still be around after the finale, we're open to him suffering a little bit.

Andrea …Odds: 7:1 Seriously, she's in The Governor's rape room. Could she be in any more danger? Still, Andrea has a knack for getting herself out of tight spots, so it wouldn't surprise us if she found a way out —

Daryl Dixon …Odds: 35:1 The show has already killed off Rick's original right-hand man in Shane, so it seems unlikely they'd axe Daryl so soon as well. Plus: They already put Daryl's head on the chopping block in the midseason finale, only to see him come out swinging, so why try again? And if any Dixon brother is going to meet his maker, we put our money on Merle

Glenn Rhee …..Odds: 30:1 Sure, Glenn may relish the chance to pay The Governor back for nearly raping his girlfriend Maggie, but after his initial freak-out it seems like the young marauder has so far been able to keep his emotions in check.

Maggie Greene …..Odds: 25:1 Maggie has been through enough this season! After The Governor nearly raped her, would the Dead writers really kill her off? Maybe. Although the young love between Maggie and Glenn has been a bright spot in this dark season, but should she die, that could presumably be a powerful catalyst to set off Glenn...............

"Carl Grimes ..Odds: 99:1 Even Laurie Holden said it: Rick's son is about the only one who's truly safe. The show has already killed off Rick's wife and best friend, therefore axing his only link to his pre-apocalypse life would just be cruel. Besides, we've gotten to see him mature and become one of our favorites.

Carol Peletier Odds:…. 50:1 Although Carol hasn't exactly had the most to do in Season 3 — except for nearly dying, which isn't exactly doing anything —her burgeoning relationship with Daryl has been a heartwarming highlight in such a dim world that it would be a shame to kill her off before anything really happened between the pair. Hershel Greene ... Odds: 15:1 With only one good leg, Hershel seems like an easy (and slow) target. After all, the writers planned to kill him off last season, so it doesn't seem likely he'll get yet another reprieve. His death would also serve for an emotional punch to the gut with him now being the voice of reason within the group.

Michonne ... Odds: 10:1 While we love Michonne and hope the Dead writers keep her around for as long as her comic book counterpart (She's still kicking in the latest issue, #108), The Governor is dead set on killing her in particular since she took his eye and killed his zombie daughter. Better watch your back!

Milton Mamet ... Odds: 4:1 Now that he's shown his true colors — presumably he's the one who set the fires at the walker pit — to The Governor, it seems highly likely that Woodbury's once-trusted advisor is now just as much in the crosshairs as the rest of the gang at the prison, especially considering he tried to warn them through Andrea.

Merle Dixon ... Odds: 3:1 Other than his brother Daryl, no one likes Merle. He has no place in the prison, and The Governor certainly isn't going to take him back at Woodbury. He's already proven his inability to strike out on his own and a thirst for senseless violence. How long before his tough guy act gets him killed? Our guess: He won't escape death twice. The Governor ... Odds: 2:1 The Dead writers have done a good job of moving the story forward at a breakneck speed this season, so it would seem unlikely they'd want to retread on old territory in Season 4 by keeping The Governor alive (just how many raids can there be?), especially considering the sadistic leader of Woodbury would never give up his quest for vengeance while still breathing. It's time to move on to other threats.

……………………… Who do you think is going to die?......

Milton is toast.

I agree. Do you think he will be killed off in tonight's episode or in the finale?

Beth Greene. Even money. Carl is getting a crush on her, but will be enough to save the fifth-wheel character? Beth wanted to off herself anyways.

I’d like to see him stay but I just don’t see a place for him unless Herschel takes the hit.

Milton is toast.

Maybe.  It would seem smarter to off Herschel and keep Milton as the new voice of reason should he defect to the prison.

There seems to be, as the article points out, no reason for the Governor to still be around.   My guess is he is eliminated in the season finale.

"Milton is toast."

I'm afraid you're right. It's too bad...I could see him learning some medicine and agriculture from Herschel, jotting everything down in his notebook.

Above all, I want to see Daryl, Rick, and Herschel survive, followed closely by Glenn and Maggie, and Michonne. Andrea? Meh.

But Herschel brings age and wisdom to the group.

Milton is a smart guy and he would get my “stay” vote in the zombie apocalypse. He’s not a builder or a fighter but he he is a planner and studier.

Once the immediate security and food concerns are taken care of, a guy like that could really shine.

Yeah, since Dale died I really think Herschel stays and retains that capacity. It was either Dale or Herschel last season, and I think Herschel was the far more compelling character.

All the women at the prison including the baby get killed, along with Hershel.

Rick is killed by Michelle while trying to turn her over to the governor.

Andrea and Michelle get away together again along with Milton. The governor and most of the town die.

Daryl, Carl, and Glenn escape but are split up. Merle is the wild card. Maybe dies but left hanging.

The nest season is about their efforts to survive and reunite (if they survive).

Milton goes on with them for a long time in the comics, if I am remembering correctly. He still hasn’t died. A long time favorite of the show recently just met his end very brutally at the hands of a maniac 100x worse than Ol’Gov. In fact, I’m probably a few issues behind now.

My money is on Merl and the Governor. Governor for sure, and it will be Andrea that kills him.
