Sand grains magnified 110-250 times reveal each grain is unique.

The tip of a spiral shell has broken off and become a grain of sand. After being repeatedly tumbled by action of the surf this spiral sand grain has become opalescent in character. I recall being on the beach in Cancun Mexico, and the sand didn’t get hot or stick to your feet.
Very different from every other beach I’ve experienced.
siesta beach sarasota fl. its called sugar and is very cool to the touxh and pure white.
Was on a black sand beach in Hana once, and had the same experience....
Isn’t it also true that every snow flake has a unique shape?
