One of my sons was diagnosed at age 3 with "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" in light of his truculent behavior. I told the Doctor that it was solely attributable to his Irish ancestry.

Truculent is one of my favorite words as well. Another is "apodictic." I can say with apodictic certainty that truculence will be required of us all in the coming struggle.
