Speaker claims to represent the firm that 'most accurately" predicted the 2008 financial collapse (Fannie Mae, Freddie etc.) 5 minutes into the presentation - he's making the case for our astronomical debt. He's talking about Federal Reserve lowering interest rate to 0 to .5 percent. Mentions Krugman's trillion dollar coin. He says CBO says we would default without the ability to print more money. So the US can't go broke in the ordinary sense of the word because money can be printed. He says that's about to change because the US is the only country that doesn't have to pay for imports in a foreign currency. That's about to end. QE3 is now promising to print over a trillion dollars a year. HOuse of cards is about to come down. China has begun to phase out American dollar. Others will follow. The US dollar has been the world's reserve currency for decades now so Americans are unaware of the impact.

It's not only bad journalism, but bad economics as well. Like any other currency, the dollar is bought and sold on a world market, and printing more dollars or fewer dollars cannot change the value of a dollar per se. The only thing that can change the value of a dollar is what people are willing to exchange for it [and yes, those FReepers who are about to flame me because I've just said printing more dollars won't change the exchange rate, go back and read what I wrote: it won't change the value per se. What does change the value is people demanding more or less of 'X' in exchange for dollars, and yes, yes, of course that does track to the number printed in the long run if there are not productivity or other gains increasing its value at the same time.]

That's also why this is nonsense about the US ceasing to be a reserve currency means inflation will finally catch up to us. Reserve currency status provides a nice discount for US consumers, but that doesn't mean that if we lose our status as a reserve currency that we lose our ability to print money, and it sure doesn't mean we can stabilize the market value of the dollar by remaining a reserve currency. Anybody who thinks that hasn't paid much attention to what's happened to the dollar since we went off gold -- and during all that time we've been a reserve currency.

Here's the tip off: Go to the web page, then try to exit the web page. You'll get a pop-up that says "Do you really want to leave this web page?" Any time you see that kind of stupidity you're dealing with someone who's running a scam. Legit web pages don't try to stop you from leaving them, or trap you in mazes or loops.

The guy needs to get a life.

Let me guess... Is it connected to a pitch for money? Almost sounds like the RNC on the other end of my phone... everyday.

I just finished with the video. I believe that many of us are well aware that America is headed for certain doom. However this video has it all laid out and I have shared it times over with many people, although I doubt that many will listen to the end. It is sad that people cannot see what is right in front of their nose. I have been so pro-active in getting out the corruption of this usurper in America's White House, his partners in shame, and the right out abuse of executive power that I expect to see the CIA showing up on my doorstep any day. One thing that I know...Everything we do is being monitored. Makes me wonder why I bother to add a password or try to protect my personal information when the biggest thieves set on Capitol Hill. Those FEMA CAMPS and COFFINS were designed with people like me in mind. BTW I am the embodiment of American Patriot, a Woman...a mother...a Christian and I believe in fighting for that which is worth fighting for. I will not be silenced until they shut me up...permanently!
