Has Justice Scalia resigned from SCOTUS?

Has Justice Scalia resigned from SCOTUS?

The Borowitz Report @ the New Yorker website published a report that Justice Scalia resigned SCOTUS over same sex 'marriage'. I don't see this headline one any other news source.

The New Yorker does not allow FR to carry their content, so you will have to Google 'Borowitz' and 'Scalia Leaves' to find the article.

TOPICS: Weird Stuff
KEYWORDS: humor; scalia
So I am presuming that is satire?

Or some type of a liberal 'hit piece' on Justice Scalia?

Not terribly witty, if so.

Can anyone confirm?

Even a rumor of him doing so would be breaking news nationwide.

He's a comedian or satirist or whatever.

He also says Scalia is leaving the country.

The New Yorker has gone off the deep end on the Left. They would prefer a Stalinist state with the Liberal Illuminati in charge.

Thanks!

I’d never heard of Borowitz before.

A friend sent the link and I wasn’t sure how to take it.

I still don’t see the humor.
Aren’t these types of satire pieces supposed to be clever and funny?

Uh-oh. Even if humor, I hope this doesn’t mean the Court is not leaning in a Scalia direction.

Stupid stuff. Like liberals theorizing over Palin, or guns, or homos, or the weather, or almost anything.

Ok, Ruth Buzzi Gisnburg and Sonija Sotomayer have both declared themselves ineligible to determine due to massive PMS syndrome.

They have petitioned God to the court and are waiting.

There’s a “HUMOR” tag on the New Yorker article.

I think they are trying to influence him like the Leno ‘resignation’ where they floated his replacement for a while to get him to go away.

The Washington Post and Huffington Post both had editorials today calling for him to resign.

If it was true, yes it would be very upsetting to most conservatives, but because it isn’t true I will venture to say that many, many more liberals and left-tards will be mentally suicidal that their political fantasy-dream was a hoax.

I mean, who is more ill-informed and just plain ignorant - conservatives or the low-information liberals? Notice how most of us on freepers were very skeptical, but how many low-info liberals will take this as the truth? I think the leftwingers are going to be more upset over this “joke” than conservatives.

Sometimes.

Sometimes they are meant to be trial balloons.

Interesting that the Supreme Court Justices were mentioned. Just this morning I went into my bank Wells Fargo and they had their monitor above the teller line. It was reported that Justice Robert had his credit card stolen due to identity thief.
