My Ukranian background was too far removed.... no grandmother to cook for me so I got “stuffed cabbage” instead. ;^)
mom called them glumpkeys, but never did get the hang of making them... my ex could - only thing she died right. but shed’ only make them once a year for christmas, and i could only have one....
now the grocery store down the street has them, but big Y across town has better.
i have a friend who makes them even better... she gave me a dozen or so a while back, and i just ran dry...
I ate so much yesterday I didn’t even get to the stuffed cabbage. Poor planning on my part.
