Regina Sees Second-Coldest March in 50 Years (Global Warming Hoax Debunking)
News Talk CJME 980 (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) ^ | April 1, 2013 | Courtney Mintenko

March 2013 will be remembered for its cold, miserable weather, and Environment Canada confirms that it ranked as the second-coldest March in the last 50 years. "It was so winter-like, my gosh it was even more winter-like than February," said David Phillips, chief meteorologist with Environment Canada. In Regina, the average daily temperature during March measured around -12.3 C. "The normal would be around -5 C," explained Phillips, "and I needn't remind you that last year, the temperature was close to 1 C. So think about it, (that's) 13 degrees colder than it was the year before."

I capitalized the headline title, but it is the word-for-word headline. And, yes, I added in ( ) the Global Warming Hoax Debunking.

What really caught my attention was the difference between the average temperature in March, and the temperature in March 2013. Convert the Celsius to Farhenheit and it is a difference of about 13 degrees F colder this March than the average March for this area....a very big difference. And, another chink in the armor of the Global Warming Hoax crowd

The end of Global Warming is not Bush’s fault, but it is Gore’s fault!

As soon as al-Jazerra gave Algore his 500 million dollars, Algore cancelled Global Warming.

If your fuel bill goes up in winter, just send the bill to Algore!

Of course, the Mid East oil countries support Al Gore and Global Warming...because it keeps all the enviros busy on stopping Keystone, Bakken, West Texas, and other oil areas from being developed

Global Warming Hoax Debunking

What a dupe you are! You haven't been paying attention!

Oh you silly cons, get with the program! Don’t you realize that Glowbull Warming CAUSES these cold snaps? It causes higher temperatures but also lower temperatures. It causes everything that Al Gore wants it to!

Not that much, maybe 6C (11F).

That article is warmist drivel. The sea ice in Antarctica is not dependent simply on cold temperatures.

Meant to say “simply on cold temperatures”, not “not”

We are already seeing what George Orwell termed “doublethink”... holding two contradictory ideas in your head and believing both... in the global warming cult. Human produced CO2 causes “climate change” which can be either global warming or global cooling with tortured explanations of how the effects of global warming can be manifested as frigid temperatures and brutal winters. The whole human caused CO2 driven climate model is coming apart and it’s predictions are now being seen as wildly inaccurate.

I hunted but could not find the late spring frost zone map. For us here in East Tennessee, the late frost date is around 15th of May. In the recent past it has been much warmer and there was no danger in May at all.

The current cold wet spring is a reversion toward the extreme that might actually produce frost in mid May

The plants know the score and are prepared to deal with the cold. The trees are hunkered down and refuse to consider budding.

A few years ago, here in Calgary, Alberta, we had a very early September hard frost, when the trees still had plenty of green leaves. Amongst the local media, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, as they fretted for days about how in the spring, trees would fail to bud and grain crops would not come back. Over the winter, some trees maintained their frozen green leaves.

The next spring, there was no problem as trees bloomed and crops sprouted, and all was well. The media simply forgot all about their doomsday predictions. This is the AGM mindset, preached from the pulpit of TV, radio, internet and newspapers, and, unfortunately, schools. Most of society has been turned into sheep, believing any and all things that they hear or see on the ‘news’.

The ‘low information’ voter fails to investigate claims, merely accepting broadcast ‘news’ as truth, without examining such claims. The Lefties have known this for decades, so they infiltrated organisations that produce ‘opinion makers’, such as universities, especially ‘journalism’ and ‘educational’ faculties. The results are lefty journalists and teachers, with pulpits to ‘preach’ their ‘brand’ of ‘truth’.
