Well, I’ve seen extremely disturbing stuff out there, so I can imagine some of it would provoke that response. Some of those videos are nothing more than simulated rape and torture.

Yeah, tell a bunch of children to go have sex, but to “be responsible”. When was the last time 11 year olds were known to be responsible about anything? Might as well call them “STD positive” courses.

Our society preaches men as wimps, inept fathers and losers. With over 50% divorce rate and 60-70% of black families being single parent, mother only, there are fewer male role models, good, bad, or otherwise. Even among Christians, the pressures of our society have removed the knowledge of what a 'Godly' man looks like.

We are not too far gone yet, I believe. Thinking about the Cross and Resurrection, one could say that The Deciever had Jesus right where God wanted Him! Jesus stole victory out of the jaws of what The Adversary thought was His defeat!

There is a series of DVDs called The Quest for Authentic Manhood by Dr. Robert Lewis that have been shown to a lot of church men's groups. Much of what is in this series has been lost in our society. Below, are a couple of links associated with this.
