I can guess what the most damning disqualification is without looking at her picture.
Only the very top schools or selective STEM programs might discriminate against males re: test scores and grades.
For the vast majority of colleges, the bar is decidedly lower these days for boys than it is for girls.

That seems counterintuitive given that the Left is usually more apt to complain about the plight of women but then Leftist men are often the most sexist and are probably intimidated by smart white women who are are of little use in proving their Leftist credentials.

I read the whole column at the link. The girl has talent, especially when inspired. Hopefully, she got into a school where that will be appreciated and developed.
