Ps: there are 57 states (or terrorist organizations) in the international islamic league. Just in case anyone’s still wondering where O got that number fron - it wasn’t from Ketchup Kerry.

I looked at this when it first came out at the beginning of the month. It is an interesting study, but download the spreadsheets and change the weighting to meet your values. Example: one state receives a lower scores on alcohol sales and higher ratings on gun rights. Which matters to you more? Particularly when you can still get booze in that state. If I recall correctly there is some queer stuff and drug stuff that scores well. Don’t like fags? Don’t like weed? Change the weights in the spreadsheet.

I have lived in North Carolina and Virginia. I like both states and the people in them but they both are what I call “control states”. They make you have your vehicle inspected, make it hard to have concealed weapon license, etc.

I haven’t seem the complete list but it seems very suspect on just the few listed in the posting paragraph.

My state (Idaho) scored #6, and I agree with their assessment except for one thing:

"Idaho does very well on gun and educational freedoms, but scores poorly on victimless crimes (crime-adjusted incarceration rates are more than one and a half standard deviations worse than the national average), marijuana, alcohol (it has state beer, wine, and spirits wholesale and retail monopolies with a high markup on spirits especially), gambling, and same-sex partnerships".

Hell's bells! That's one of the things I'm most proud of...homos can't get special rights here, because we've defined marriage as what it's always been in civilized societies...one man and one woman. We know what marriage is and isn't in Idaho, and the homos can just pass us by and go pollute Washington, Oregon and Commiefornia.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

If a line were drawn E/W on the map just North of Orlando, and everything South of that line were made into a new state called Yankee Florida, then the real Florida would be the most conservative state in the union.

Draw a circle around Austin and San Antonio and you'd have same thing
