Fox NASCAR coverage...
Me | 04/13/13 | Sporke

Posted on 04/13/2013 8:43:47 PM PDT by Sporke

I watch most NASCAR races. During every race I can remember, the sponsor of a race is mentioned at least while going to a commercial, and coming back from a commercial. The sponsor is usually mentioned at least a few dozen other times during the race.

The winner of a race at Texas Motor Speedway is also presented a pair of pistols that he shoots, at the trophy presentation.

I watched 90% of the NASCAR race today, and not ONCE did I hear who the sponsor was, NOT ONCE!!! I never saw a single NRA sign of any type. I also did not see the winner with a pistol in his hand after the race, like I have after every single other race at TMS.

Fox SUCKS!!!! I hope and pray they pay a price for what they didn't do today at the race.

What good did it even do for the NRA to sponsor the race if they got no airtime?

I saw that this morning, and wasn’t a bit surprised.

What surprised me about Fox was that I assumed the sponsor would be guaranteed a certain amount of mentions during a race. I guess I was wrong. :-/

There were actually a few NRA mentions, but they were sparse.

The great Karl Malon announced Start Your Engines and he was wearing NRA shirt and hat. He also called said NRA 500.

On the Fox NASCAR schedule, next week is the “STP 400”. I would assume the sponsor is STP. For this weeks race, it has “NASCAR racing at Texas” or something close to that. One would think NRA 500 is as easy to type as STP 400.

It gets even worse if you go to the NASCAR FOX Sports website. No usual picture of the winner with the trophy. Just a "Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner!" graphic. If you go to "Photos", there about three loaded so far from tonight's race. The fags refer to the race as "the Texas 500". Somebody needs to tell the retards down at FOX Sports that the Texas 500 won't be run until November 3rd. This NAZI censorship bull**** is a real load. This isn't my America anymore. This is Barry's Amerika ObamaNation.

Probably both..a real shame..this country is going downhill and fast..can’t even mention the NRA anymore without the Commie left throwing a fit..if we don’t stand up to these pieces of garbage we will lose this country

Weird because an earlier thread on the topic was wondering how the left would deal with the in your face NRA logos. Folks must be watching different races. I’m going to go back to a streaming live concert instead of a bunch of people turning left.

If NASCAR censors the Confederate Battle Flag then of course FOC can keep the NRA mentions to a minimum. I wore a Battle Flag shirt today just because I’m sick of PC kowtowing everywhere even here in Alabama.

I noticed all week on the local FOX station (not an affiliate but owned by them) that the promo’s did not mention the sponsor.

I already fired off some "feedback" to the cowards over at http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar. I made sure to let them know that the NASCAR race they just covered on TV was the NRA 500. Told them that the Texas 500 hasn't been held yet and would be held in November.

Cudos to Yahoo sports. They got the name of the race correct and they didn't even provide TV coverage of the event.

I hate government censorship.

Malone is the man. They don’t make them like that anymore. He wore the NRA 500 logo on his hat and shirt. I guess, unlike FOX and NASCAR, he’s not “into” bending over for the leftist creeps.

I’ve watched my last NASCAR event.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan but every time I’ve watched in the past the sponsor has been shoved down my throat. Today, crickets.

Screw NASCAR and screw Fox. Rupert Murdoch can rot in hell.

Once Reb flags started to disappear from NASCAR, the sport started to suck.
