Each social or political conflict is compartmentalized by the mainstream, the dots are left isolated and the overwhelming overall threat to our foundational principles is marginalized.

The problem with this civic philosophy is that the general public is left without peripheral vision and unequipped to comprehend that there is a process in motion, an overarching plan that is eating away at the edges of our liberty from every angle, one small piece at a time.

This country needs to wake up. We are at war with everyone who is not basically an rock ribbed American or of anglo-European descent. The 40% or so of the stupid white liberals who want to feel good about themselves are our biggest enemy. I know, I work (correction worked, I moved jobs two weeks ago simply to remove myself from their pansy arses) with loads of them who really think we are no better than anyone else.

Agree, unfortunately most in our nation simply do not understand or appreciate the special nature of liberties and freedoms as documented in our founding documents. Too easy to forfeit that that is not understood.
Ignorance and complacency will be our downfall.

You are so right. Until recently I was sidelined by illness, and having gotten back some mobility, I now get around again and talk to people regularly. This is what you might call Pennsylvania redneck country, no shortage of Dems but they used to be sane Dems. They would celebrate America, they still cling to their guns and the region is chock full of churches. Yet now, every few days I run into someone who will need but a few minutes of political conversation, to begin regurgitating progressive, anti-American propaganda. And when I try to respond to it they will say, "You're a right winger!" or "You're with the teabaggers!"

They're young, they're old, they're dropouts and attorneys, welfare recipients and well-to-do.

The American Idea Derangement Syndrome is what I'd call it if the acronym were available. But the American Idea is dying, that's for sure.

Really? Tell me outside of the groups I named list me our friends. Don’t let a dependence on our goodwill or military nor industrial assets cloud your judgement. Russia, no. China, no. Japan, not really. India, no. Nobody in the ME or Africa. What does that leave? Australia and a handful of small isolated countries.

Your opinion is exactly why we are in the boat we are in. Nobody is our friend. Get used to it. We have been lulled into a state of kumbaya and it will hinder us from recovery. I am around people from all over the world every day that are here working on visas and they do not love, nor care about this country. Sadly, I see a great many born Americans that also do not care as long as they have their distractions.

We can not sit the fence anymore. One of GWB’s more salient points was “you are either with us or against us”.

That's true, but irrelevant. Why do I say such a thing? Because we're already living in post-constitutional America.

The flag and our country's name are intact; everything else has been eviscerated by the self-proclaimed "progressives." Congress has devolved into a rubber stamp for the Executive branch, and if you doubt me, please tell me how recently it's passed a national budget. The Supreme Court has devolved into another rubber stamp, and if you doubt me, please explain John Roberts' granting the so-called "Affordable Care Act" a fake patina of legality. The Executive branch answers to no one. The vast, unsupervised feral government bureaucracy does as it pleases, spends as it pleases, prints money as it pleases, and enforces so-called "law" as it pleases.

I believe we will restore our constitutional republic, but only after the "progressive oligarchy" we're currently living under has crashed and burned. How many American lives will be lost when it crashes and burns? That's another question, I'm sorry to tell you.

I'm surprised that I have to say something so obvious on FR, but "rock ribbed" Americanism is premised in self-evident truth, not race.

I don’t care what race you are. The is no American race. I care about people that come here and do not embrace our American culture. They come here and hyphenate their race, they celebrate stuff like cinco de mayo, Gay Day, and May Day et. al. with reverence and only acknowledge the 4th and Memorial Day as a day off (maybe). We are too busy teaching our kids in public screwel what great places other countries are that they cannot tell you what happened in our country 50, 100, 200 years ago, nor name any of our greatest leaders.

Take pride in your ancestry but stop putting it before your Americanism. If you come here, then come here 100%. You used to never see another nations’ flag flying from someone’s house with Old Glory, much less aside it or above it. Now you rarely see our flag in some neighborhoods but they are chocked full of Mexican, Jamaican, you name it flags.

All men are created equal, but our country is (soon to be was) the only one where that could be evident. If we allow more dilution of the culture that created this great nation then it will pass into obscurity on the back of diversity.

Pursue all the life, liberty, and happiness you want, but if you are here, pursue it as an American. Not every one deserves to some here, most need to be told NO. Freedom is not easy, you have to want it real bad and if you are not willing to make a hard decision now and again to protect that institution that allows such freedoms then you deserve to lose it. We are not making those hard decisions because we have been told we are the bad guys and only if we allowed more diversity we would be better and everyone would love us again. BS! Back in the day of “legal” immigration people came here and wanted to buy into America not take from her. Now they come here to rape her and change her into the whore they left.

I am knee deep in them. The company I just left 1/2 of the 2000 work force were non-European. I spent lots of time listening to them talk about how to “fix” this country.

And I will set the record straight only a Sith deals in absolutes, there are exception to every rule, in this case the exceptions are the minority.

To days students are not interested in debate for they believe fully each has a right to their “own truth” and perfectly acceptable.....so they won't debate at all.

Speakers at Colleges today have noted that even questions asked are carefully framed so as not to offend any...as a result the true question is “lost” among the rubble of Political correctness.”

I agree ...good post.

You're more hopeful then I though, what we see in our governance, educational systems, business and industry, and even in the churches...is a mindset on a International Global Scale... which I have great reservations can be halted , at best slowed.

Progression has taken hold and rooted itself very deeply in the human psychic....after years of indoctrination and MSM enabling it to flourish here. ...governments too...I cannot see how this can be stopped, let alone destroyed. There just simply are not enough people opposing it, and few who understand what is actually occurring .

I would love to believe there are powerful and strong men willing to stand against this...but I fear the forces that be are ramming rods which quickly roll over them if they do not "play" their game in their way.....therefore , as we now see, they compromise, showing weakness, and their opposition just rolls over them then.

Every event and happening in our country, no matter how tragic to the people, is now used as stepping stones to position us in the Global Community.....which is where this administration and most politicians are lining themselves up for...and the power they might weld on that stage.

I'm both more and less hopeful, caww. I'm hopeful we'll restore our constitutional republic; I have no hope whatever, however, we'll be able to avoid a monumental "progressive" national disaster between now and the restoration.

"Progressives" are looters, rapists, arsonists, extortionists, armed robbers, and everything else destructive. I believe they've succeeded in eviscerating our constitutional republic from within in all but name. Their hatred of America, which I'll probably never understand, has driven them to accomplish a truly enormos destructive task—but what then? They're not inventors or creators or builders or managers. If they were, they'd be capitalists.

I believe it's naught short of inevitable they'll try to cobble together a socialist or communist or neo-fascist or crony capitalist regime, and fail abjectly. They're not going to be able to reduce enough of us to serfdom to make a go of it. They've reduced millions of us from citizen to serfdom through so-called "welfare" and "entitlements," but those weren't the best and brightest to begin with, and their very dependence will necessarily pose a huge problem for the oligarchy: they'll still need to be maintained in the style they've become accustomed to, or they'll riot, set fires, go on murder sprees, et cetera. The product is never better than the materials it's made of.

Whether we go Galt or revolt, the rest of us aren't going to degenerate into subservient half-starved North Koreans, and we happen to be the people who produce the wealth the "progressives" have been looting all this time. One way or a dozen others, the oligarchy is going to create and unleash a national disaster it won't be able to control or alleviate.

I can't imagine we'll have an opportunity to restore our constitutional republic before the "progressives" or "liberals" fail: in the first place, far too few of us believe disaster is even possible, and in the second, far too few of us have the foresight or courage to advocate secession before a disaster.
