I don’t think fearful is the right word but maybe more alert.

It's made me fearful of being accosted by TSA goons at public events.

I haven't been in an airport for ten years because of them.

Guess I'll be boycotting a lot more things, because this is the crisis Ubama's "civilian army" has been waiting for.

They're going to show us who's boss.

Same here. Since I never liked it before the world went nuts, I can’t say that I like it more now.

Terrorists don’t seem to understand the mind of Free Americans.

Fear? Nope. What I feel is not fear.

My daughter is going to the Bruins game tomorrow night. I’m a little nervous, but the security will be a lot more tight than usual so I’m sure it’ll be okay

Of course not. The raghead terrorists bombers are not going to be at your local art show, county fair, mega-mall, or gun show. They’re going to be where they know the media cameras will be, so they can get the most attention. Their whole aim is to instill terror through mass media.

Me either. Present company excepted. I think I’d feel right at home in an arena full of FReepers.

Me, either. I especially don’t care for malls & parking garages- & that’s been true for decades.

This doesn’t bother me much. However, I am very concerned that I may no longer be able to continue to be armed....THAT I lose sleep over.

For most of my many years I have made a conscious effort to avoid any type of large gathering. Made an exception for Sarah Palin.

“For most of my many years I have made a conscious effort to avoid any type of large gathering. Made an exception for Sarah Palin.”

That’s great you saw Sarah!

I wanted to be a part of the RNC National Convention in 2004 since it was in NYC and I live in NJ. When asked where we would like to volunteer, I was certain I wanted to stay away from Madison Square Garden. Too risky, I thought.

So I volunteered to great the delegates at the airports for two or three days. On Sunday, I met a delegate from Illinois who had never been to NYC. I told him I’d show him around. On Tuesday we met at 12 noon and we “toured” until 12 midnight! It was fun, and he probably saw more in 12 hours than some tourists see in a week! He was so appreciative.

When he asked me to attend Thursday evening’s convention as his guest, I didn’t hesitate. He even asked if I wanted to bring my daughter, which I did. Of course, Thursday was the big day with the Bush’s and the Cheney’s there. It was such a thrill that I never once felt unsafe.

It’s the government’s reaction to the event that I fear.

Believe it or not, Sarah came to Charleston, WV. Our local Tea Party worked with Freedom Works on the massive crowd control, etc. I got to shake Sarah’s hand and tell her that I prayed for her. She said, “Thank you so much”. She is very small and dainty. I wonder how she can present such a powerful persona. Ted Nugent was there too. Our “mountaineers’ loved both of them.
