Just tasting cold, refreshing beer -- with no influence from alcohol -- make increase your desire to get drunk.

A new study reveals that the taste of beer leads the brain to release a hormone called dopamine, which controls the reward and pleasure centers of the brain. Dopamine has been linked to drinking and other drug abuse.

I assume that Milwaukee’s Best was not one of the beers offered.

>>I hope that not too many millions of dollars were spent to reach this conclusion.

I hope not! Because its BS. I hate the taste of beer. I’ve never liked it and I’m 50 years old. A taste of beer just recharges my dislike for another decade or so. Even when I was a young sailor, I hated the taste and just trying to drink a single can was like drinking vomit one sip at a time.

So, at best, they proved that people who like the taste of beer...like the taste of beer. Duh!

This is true..This-is-so true. After my first beer I am right back to snapping my fingers for my wife to get me another one. But strangely enough she always feels the need to recite for me the 7 words you cannot say on the radio.

Kind of like the face I made thirty eight years ago when I tried to drink a bottled COORS. It was so bad I had to drink two genuine canned OLYMPIAS to get the taste out of my mouth.

Worry not, Bryan about your beer consumption; specifically, the lack thereof. I, too, am 50 and started drinking at the age of manhood (8 years old) on the front porch of Grandpa’s house, with the rest of the men. I’ve got you covered.

As a Marine, I have always had my Brother in Arms best interest at heart.

I try to keep the national supply of beer low, but if you feel I’m slacking-off, let me know.

Cheers!

Tasting food usually makes me want to eat more - if it tastes good.

Tasting ***** usually makes me want to eat more.

Who wants just a taste? What kind of a tease is that?

Now, I wonder how many taxpayer ten$ of million$ they burned through to come to that rather obvious conclusion....

Clearly further study is required. I intend to volunteer as a subject in about one hour.

Study conducted by the Indiana Alcohol Research Center, using 25 male subjects. Couldn’t come up with enough women who would admit to liking beer. So, how many taxpayer dollars were blown on this boondoggle? Could have just gone to the nearest Hooters or strip club and come up with the results. Sky is blue, grass is green, men like beer.
