Slick, like scumbag Chuckie Schumer ... who's FOR the immigration bill?
And if Chuckie is for something, then I'm against it and that means I'm against Rubio too.

While I oppose the immigration bill, given the border-security issue and Obama's record of non-enforcement, among other things, I regret linking to a post that refers to Senator Rubio as a slick used car salesman. He is earnest and thoughtful and deserves much better. He loves his country and means well, unlike too many politicians. There are slick used car salesmen on Capitol Hill, many come to mind, but Rubio is certainly not one of them.
Also, while I'm on the subject, there are bloggers, columnists, and radio hosts who will personally trash Rubio because they think that shows how tough they are on illegal immigration or how conservative they are. Actually, they are pretenders. Most of them have done nothing on this issue or for the conservative movement. Landmark Legal Foundation has been involved in every recent, major piece of litigation against the Obama administration involving illegal immigration, including assisting Arizona in its defense of its law and borders. We went all the way to the Supreme Court. I don't recall any of these "tough" guys and gals behind their computers and microphones lifting a finger. None of them. Talk is cheap, and many of them are frauds.
However, when it comes to the current Gang of 8 bill, John McCain could go on Levin's show and state ver batim what Rubio has stated, and Levin would be blasting McCain personally. I don't like McCain at all, but a bad bill is a bad bill, and like it or not, he is being a salesman for this bill, and his goal at this point is to sell the product regardless of the quality of the product.
Marco was interviewed on Mark's show a few months back and talked about "De facto amnesty", and talked non-stop for 10 minutes while Levin did nothing to hold his feet to the fire. I complained about this in one or two comments on Levin's Facebook page, and have since been blocked from commenting.
You’re dead wrong Mark...Rubio needs his feet held to the fire just like any other double-talking politician.
By the way, an article on Powerline noted that Marco Rubio was first approached about joining the Gang of 8 back at the Senate Gym in December by his workout buddy, Dick Durbin. Dick Durbin for crying out loud. Rubio and Durbin working out together is about as bad as if Mark Levin had Keith Olberman as his workout buddy. Whatever happened the old adage, “judged by the company you keep”?

So your importance to the movement is based on whether or not you're a lawyer. Great, Mark.
I got news for you: I love your show, but you better get one thing straight and you better do it quick. People like us who post here aren't just important to the conservative movement: we ARE the conservative movement.
We're the foot soldiers. We're the people who make the calls, who stay on the elected officials, who knock on the doors and who carry the freight on issues like gun control. And we will carry the freight on illegal immigration and Rubio amnesty as well.
And as grunt soldiers, we choose to exercise the common soldier's only right: the right to complain.
We don't like Rubio's amnesty. And if you don't like that, you can find a way to win elections without us. Because we can, and we will, cut our own deal.
Rubio is talking way too fast and selling way too hard.
I hear more of the same that was supposed to be done but not done and excuses for not enforcing the laws we have now.
Settle down with your defense of Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh; they’ll be fine, no matter what happens to the rest of us if Marco Rubio gets his way. I don’t like or dislike a politician personally, but I fight against their policy and critique their actions.
I stated up front the Mark Levin doesn’t support the Gang of 8 bill, but I think Mark and Rush should stop saying what a great conservative Rubio is when Rubio pulls this stuff on the American people. Marco is the appointed salesman for this bill and we are allowed the criticize the salesman within reason. We can say he is talking like a slick used car salesman if that is what he reminds us of.
The difference between Levin, Rush, and someone like me is that I am willing to distance myself from a politician who is making a big mistake and trying to convince conservative voters and conservative politicians to put the country in a bad situation. Enforce the current immigration laws to the best of the government’s ability and humanity, it’s that simple.
Why should we expect different results from a bill that was written by the Same Idiot that helped write the 1986 Legislation. Chuckles Schumer claimed that was the End of all Scamnesty. Now 30 years later here we are with 6-10 times as many Criminal Invaders.
Land Mines, Fences with constentin wire and Armed Forces with shoot to kill orders would seal the border as soon as they were in place.
Rush, hannity, Levin...likely ALL work for outfits that want this amnesty/ They know who is behind this. THEY don’t care! None of them EVER mention the GOP LOBBYISTS writing this bill, the same ones who have destroyed EVERY attempt at border control from prop 187 to today.
Levin, Hannity and Rush apparently serve their own interests before this nations. THEY KNOW what Rubio is! If they don’t, they need to get another job.
