...but he lost me tonight when he advocated federal background checks. I get it, he is a populist, and maybe I am in the minority that understands tyranny and how it works... there is a slippery slope of turning victimless crimes into felonies (and therefore the revocation of the right to vote). This is a going the wrong way. I disagree with BOR here... I hope he gets blasted for this.

Bill O'Reilly lost me when he hosted Inside Edition.
My belief is that he is all about himself and spouts conservative ideas in order to generate income for himself.
He is a lazy thinker at best. His interviews are basically one-sided attempts at one-upmanship.
If you happened to agree with him on an issue or two it's only because he's putting on a good act.
