FREMONT, Neb. (AP) -- Natura Pet Products is expanding a recall of dry pet foods over a possible salmonella risk to animals and people.
The company, a unit of Procter & Gamble Co., first announced a voluntary recall in March of its dog, cat and ferret foods because they may be contaminated with salmonella bacteria. The company's recall now includes all dry pet food products and treats with expiration dates prior to and including March 24, 2014.

A complete list of the recalled foods is available online at http://www.naturapet.com/ . Customers should throw away affected pet foods. More information is available from Natura at (800) 224-6123.

It is a bit more expensive but at times like this all I can think is "Totally worth it!"
That’s true, but I’d venture there’s a higher chance of issues with ingedients from China
This is why I switched my cat food to Before Grain by Merrick, they also have dog food.
Check out their website. They are located in TX and only use ingredients from their locals.
And one of their promises are NO INGREDIENTS FROM CHINA!

There’s already a Lindsey Graham ping list.
You’re very welcome.

As I noted in post #18, I did contact Natura Products today and was told that the answers as to the source of the ingredients (by product brand) are available from this web site: www.seebeyondthebag.com. I checked it and found that it does address where they get their ingredients.
